Post Scope of International Relations
Can anyone please educate me more about the scope of a Masters in International Relations in CSS and the pay-scale also. Your help will be highly appreciated

You are mixing things up. Keep the pay scale query separate from scope. As far as masters in IR is concerned then surely it will help you prepare an optional subject IR(from group-1) in less time.

BPS-17 officers are recruited by FPSC for Civil Service of Pakistan by conducting competitive exam named CSS exam. There may be a difference in allowances depending on the group one is assigned to, but all who pass css exam start their service with BPS-17(BPS = Basic Pay Scale)
