Pakistani Media: a manifestation of pure yellow journalism.
Not five fingers are equal, though. Dawn.com is credibly mature media network, however, there is also an outcry against dawn.com.
Most of the media groups are reflecting a sad state of journalism because of attaining a one-sided and prejudiced interpretation of many domestic affairs. Our media owners are politicised: in this context, they have always shown a propensity of displaying and hiring like-minded anchors and analysts. On the other hand, much of other proportion of media world is attaining a government-friendly inclination. Thirdly: Our media doesn't enjoy full freedom of expression over many of the national and international issues. There are plenty of reasons behind this, i.e., because of knowingly unknown "pressures", our media content is thoroughly censored of any anti-state-institutions elements before coming to the fore. There are many other factors posing to the freedom of media in Pakistan.
In a nutshell: One hand, media in Pakistan is disintegrated in a way that it is always drawing different paintings of issues making vaguely different perspective for the general public. On the other hand, it is suppressed its due, unexploited rights of expression.
