Is survey of Pakistan equivalent to CSS attempt?
 

I want to ask that if I take C.E 2018 Survey of Pakistan exam, will it equal to availing a CSS chance? Does it mean I am left with only one CSS chance?

It is a separate exam than CSS. It has no affect on CSS chances. Last time it was conducted in 2015. Separate rules have been framed for this exam. This time advertisement is very ambiguous.

I was going through another thread, a person there had posted that he called FPSC and they told him that it would be considered a CSS attempt, which confused me. I thought it is better to clarify before instead of crying later!

not at all.

If a person is passionate and gets a kick out of serving the public only then CSS is worth it. But if a person wants to live a life full of luxuries, then CSS is not for them. It is only worth it for those people who genuinely want to work for their country.
