Default Applying through Proper Channel
Dear Seniors,
I am here to ask regarding applying for CSS examination through proper channel. Please let me know that "a person who is currently working in Grade-18, can apply for CSS examination through proper channel or not ?"" Shall he be regarded with age relaxation up to 32 for appearing in CSS examination.

Yes, you may apply. All you need is departmental permission. You will have to speak with AGPR people for pay fixation.

As per ESTA cosde, one who is in Grade-18 ca not apply for post in 17 scale. So is there any rule that permit to apply for CSS from higher posts.
