Default What will happen after end of Treaty of Lausanne?

Will Turkey claim its land as the time of Ottoman Empire?

The Treaty of Lausanne (French: Traité de Lausanne) was a peace treaty negotiated during the Lausanne Conference of 1922–23 and signed in the Palais de Rumine, Lausanne, Switzerland, on 24 July 1923. It officially settled the conflict that had originally existed between the Ottoman Empire and the Allied French Republic, British Empire, Kingdom of Italy, Empire of Japan, Kingdom of Greece, and the Kingdom of Romania since the onset of World War I. The original text of the treaty is in French. It was the result of a second attempt at peace after the failed Treaty of Sèvres. The earlier treaty had been signed by all previous parties, except the Kingdom of Greece, but later rejected by the Turkish national movement who fought against its terms. The Treaty of Lausanne ended the conflict and defined the borders of the modern Turkish Republic. In the treaty, Turkey gave up all claims to the remainder of the Ottoman Empire and in return the Allies recognized Turkish sovereignty within its new borders. It provided for the Greek-Turkish population exchange and allowed unrestricted civilian and military passage through the Turkish Straits. (wikipedia)

In my opinion, it is unequivocally No.

Ottoman empire at her zenith occupied lands of Arabia, North Africa, Greece, Hungary, Romania, Balkan states, and many other lands. These lands were under control of Ottoman empire. Moreover, these countries were ethnically diverse. No force other than Islam could unite them. In past, even before Ottoman empire, they were at loggerheads with each other. They were fighting and paying off old scores with each other. The conflict is also present today. Saudi Arabia attacked on Yemen. Syria is a good example for showing differences among countries that were part of Ottoman Empire. Therefore, it is difficult to unite whole Ottoman empire again. Ottoman empire were stronger in economy, would it possible that empire to be established again with weak economy like Turkey?

Today, different countries are more powerful in economy than Turkey-Citadel of Ottoman empire. Arab countries have oil, they sell their oil and earn a lot of money. They are stronger economically than Turkey. On the other hand, Turkey is also dependent upon Gulf countries for Oil. Moreover, Ottoman Empire was powerful because it was transient state for European countries to Eastern countries for trade. Ottoman levied tax upon traders of Europe and earned huge sums of money. European were relied upon Turkey for trade. European leaders desired for new route to reach East that might be helped to skip Turkey. They sent many Voyages for discovery of new routes. Voyager were successful in finding new routes and reliance on Turkey for trade diminished gradually. Hence, today European have air, Sea, and Road linkages to many areas of world for trade. It is not possible for Turkey to become Ottoman Empire again and to take care of Ottoman Empire again without privilege of economics. Politics also plays very important link with economy. Will Ottoman empire politically possible?

Ottoman empire occupied those lands that are nation state in this period. Many countries are independent. They have their own foreign policy. Economics of these countries are more than Turkey. World powers recognize importance of these independent countries. These countries would not join Ottoman empire peacefully because they are more powerful than Turkey as well. Egypt is an excellent example. Arab dislikes non-Arabs. Arabian countries would not join Ottoman empire on basis of race or religion . As historian have been written that Turkish people were slave of Arab during Abbasid period. Therefore, it is politically impossible. Would Arab people submitted their loyalties to Non-Arabs again?
