Irani President strikes!
"Anyone who signs a treaty which recognises the entity of Israel means he has signed the surrender of the Muslim world " - A bold statement by the President of a country.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/4378948.stm It takes a lot to make such statements in these times... I admire the courage but fear the consequences, however, i just pray for peace & prosperity of the whole muslim ummah. Is Iran serious or is it another drama being staged like the one previously staged by Saddam in the 1990s? I would like you people to express your opinions. Be brief but comprehensive. Assalam Alaikum,
Brother, I think what Saddam did in 1990 was something done by a dictator, but what the Mr. Nijad is doing has the backing of the mandate that he received in elections and off course the religious side of Iran as well. Thanks. |
One more thing...
If Iran's president said something, why does the world have to make a huge issue about it? Bush often used to say "We'll smoke'em out" about the Taliban & Iraqi regimes. Thats almost the same as wiping them out, except that the wordings are different. My humble request to other members, i need your views on this matter.

Assalam Alaikum,
"Pakistan is a big devil, India must crush it," so does the headline said in one the Indian newspapers after the bombings in Delhi. I think this is all war of rhetoric, when the west does it, it means introducing democracy and eradicating Islamic evil. But when the Muslim countries do it, it becomes anti-semitic or anti something. GO FIGURE!!! Thanks. |
