Default Motivation to continue studying during COVID-19

Despite being a relatively poor nation compared to the financially strong countries such as Italy, Germany, France and most notably the United States, Pakistan has managed to significantly control the spread of Coronavirus.

If we resided in a country like US (currently >3 lakh cases and estimated 1-2 lakh deaths by the end of the pandemic), it’s hard to think about anything else especially studying for an exam. However, Pakistan has 2,800 cases that should only worry Pakistanis to stay at home and further slow the spread but shouldn't panic the population as the number is comparatively low.

Pakistani's should thank the Almighty and pray that cases do not experience an exponential growth as did Italy, Germany, France and the US.

As for CSS aspirants as well as for PMS or any other exams, Students should avail this opportunity to stay at home that will both protect them from the coronavirus and keep their minds occupied while studying. Additionally, studying during this time will teach the students to manage stress and keep on going while having in back of your minds "For indeed with hardship, there will be ease" Quran 94:5.

Important to remember that just like all pandemics that have happened in the past, this too will pass with the grace of Allah. Over 90% of the patients recover and government institutions expect the spread to be mostly under control by July - August. The vaccines are also under development and will be available in the near future.

Lastly, what you believe is a punishment is not actually a punishment if it brings you closer to your creator. Take this time to really reflect upon yourself and your sins, asking for forgiveness and developing a strong relationship with Allah. Inshallah this will be pass.
