My choices for optional subjects so far are:

1) IR or Political Science
2) Indo Pak History or USA History
3) International Law
4) Gender studies
5) Sociology

I am confused between IR and Political science.
USA History has short syllabus but not interested in it.
Indo Pak History subject is interesting and relatable but too lengthy.

I cannot tell you anything about it's security but regarding preparation, contrary to the name suggests, it is mostly environmental legislation and international conferences with their repetitive goals and no concrete outcomes.

Information is easily available on the internet, syllabus is lengthy in my opinion with little or negligible focus on general environmental problems, their causes and solutions.

1) IR / Political Science
Confused between both the subjects. Being Engineer, both subjects are new for me and most of the people are suggesting me to opt for Political Science as it is more high scoring than IR according to past trends.

2) Business Administration
3) History of USA
4) Criminology
5) Psychology

Only confused in selection of option # 1. This is my first attempt. Any valuable feedback would be much appreciated.

political Science=relatively concise+over lapping with Pak affairs+defined syllabus as compared to IR and IR overlaps with
Both of them are easy to understand.
