Hi I got an offer for SPS-7 on contract bases although the pay package they are offer is less than what I am currently getting from private organization, Should I join them or not ? Does it consider as officer or just staff? how long it will normally take to move from SPS-7 to sps-8, its two year initial contract.

For which post you receive offer letter? As per my info some times they extend contract and some time not. People remain contractual employees for years and some get permanent.its depend on project nature
