Nice selection of article dude.Well i just wana commnet that the whole story is the the result of what Musharraff acknowledged Western powers about agreement b/t tribesman and Govt officials, will result some First-rate solution. And Offcourse current situation would help a lot to minimize the world(specifically US cabinet) pressure for the threatening accumulation of millitant forces in waziristan region.Apparently it seems that Uzbak and Tajik forces abolish at all.But ground realities doesn't favor this scenario.Well Mahsood tribe also has a strong role in all situation.Lets hope for the best of our country.May Allah help us to solve all the issues trembling Paksitan' security situation,Ameen.

You are right there Najabat... Mehsuds reside in N. Waziristan. this conflict is in south,,, but now that the movement has started, to flush out foreigners from south, i am sure would spread to other areas also.

also one point worth noting here is that the tribals fighting against the uzbeks are fighting under nationalistic slogan, not religeous! i think this is a major major watershed! it is pushtuns v/s outsiders and not "mujahiedeen v/s kufaar" ( as was the case until recently.

So will this spell finis for the Taliban movement, whose primary cause was religeon?
