PAEC as Admin Officer (SPS-08) or moving abroad - Pros & Cons

Assalam o Alaikum Members.
My security clearance for Admin Officer (SPS-08) in PAEC is in final stages, I want to know about the pros and cons of this job. I have worked for the Govt. for almost 4 years and I don't like the system as it is corrupt and promotes nepotism and isn't rewarding. I'm a post graduate and working at a managerial level, but I'm still unable to afford a decent accommodation for myself on rent, or buy a car after working for 4 years. I'm an introvert, stay away from conflict, and don't want to get married at least for the next 5 years. I have always done what I have been told to do by the society and my family but I have never felt satisfied or rewarded by following the rules and I feel like I have been betrayed by the society and the system. After closely observing all this for 4 years, I feel like I will never fit in. So, I recently made up my mind to at least try for once to Immigrate to Canada ( I know it would be starting over and would require struggle for few years).
I want to ask, considering the nature of the organization (PAEC) which demands so many restrictions, would they allow me to leave the job anytime in future or move abroad for visit or any other purpose?

Serious advice required from people who really understand what I am trying to ask. It would be really appreciated.

Thanks

Wa Alaikum Salam!

Dear, first of all, I would like to ask about the dates(or year) in which you appeared for test/psychological assessment/interview and also the date of receiving security forms (because I was also a candidate for PAEC AO(SPS-08): interview was held in Dec-2019 but didn't receive security forms). Plz update me.

Secondly, I as per your ambitions/needs and I would rather say demands like your own home/car etc, I shall strongly recommend to move abroad (or at least apply once for immigration).

Because, I am also a Govt. employee since 2015, and still I am not able to buy a bike cz of family responsibilties, and you are talking about car and own home.

Dear, if you are thinking about buying a car and having your own home at cities like Islamabad/Rawalpindi by holding a govt job, then you will have to wait for retirement. You will get a handsome amount as GP/CP fund at an age of 60 years, that will make you able to have your own home and a car as well. I observed several people buying/constructing homes after retirement.

PS: Its my opinion, and many members of this forum may not be agree with it. its okay:p

Thanks[/QUOTE]Those who join PAEC after fellowship (2 year paid MS by PIAES)needs to sign a bond of serving for at least 5-7 years. If they are offering a permanent job, then it may be the same case for you to sign a bond with them. After expiration of bond you are free to go.

Personally i missed the chance of fellowship leading to permanent job in PAEC (because of age limitations) and if i ever get a chance to join PAEC as a permanent employee i would join it without a second thought.

Additionally i don't know about perks of PAEC because a permanent employee actually knows about it, but if its "just" a govt job then of course there will be only salary and it will not make anyone rich.

One last thing i want to ask you, did they advertised the job directly or from which channel you applied there for permanent employment?
