Default Subject Selection for CSS 2023
Salam Everyone!!!

I'm Aqsa ... Graduated in Applied Physics... I have confusion related to my optional subjects as I have a Physics major so I have command on Physics and All 3 Maths subjects from Group 2(200marks) ... Now m confused about which optional I choose for CSS 2023... Please guide me for this ...

My other 4 optional subjects are:
  1. History of Pakistan and India
  2. Urdu Literature
  3. Philosophy
  4. Pshycology


Are these 4 subjects fine or do I need to look back for optional subjects?

Don't go for philosophy unless you have strong grip over its basics and stamina to grasp deep critical concepts. Philosophy is not self taught ( According to examiner report). It needs lot of dedication. I myslef failed it in 2020 attempt. I Opted it only on my interst base but was flunked. Although philosophy still excits me.

Thank you for your response... What about Constitutional Law in the replacement of Philosophy? Is it a great choice?

Yeah it is, but more wise if you opt Political science instead of urdu/history. Urdu/ English literature is often low scoring subjects unless you have keen interest.
