This Case Showz That There Is No Law In Pakistan.all The Judicial Courts Are Being Slaved From Over 50 Years.
I Would Like To Say That All The Judicial Members Including Chief Justice Of Pakistan Should Resign From Their Posts And Stay At Their Homes Becasuse There Is No Need Of This Judiciary System In Pakistan. |

Dear,
something is better than nothing, so truncated judiciary system is better than none so far as the plight of sonia naz is concerned, she was victim of the police i.e. executive not the judiciary, the need is to change the mindset of everyone, including all of us, a society is nothing itself (on the same notion Pakistan is nothing in its own) it is the members of society that makes it good or bad (in this case the members are Pakistanis). We all have to work to make a good culture. So one must start work individually and after individual efforts, collective can be made ..... ... it is upto us (the new generation), how we perceive and make our country's future

Fight can be fought only by living in Pakistan
Assalam Alaikum,
I just came across these two articles on Mukhtar Mai and Sonia Naz, and wanted to get your opinion on it. "I think that the fight can be fought only by living in Pakistan. You cannot fight by leaving." A statement given by Ms. Mai, while talking to reporters while visiting US for receiving an award. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/south_asia/4395728.stm Police thrash Sonia, son on Lahore roads http://jang-group.com/thenews/index.html Both of these women are publicly struggling to get justice, yet facing grave difficulties in the process. Do you think Government should follow a precedent of Sonia Naz, and have some Commission created under SC to deal with rape victims from day one, and be spared from local Police? Thanks. |

Something even more sadly surprising!
check out this link, you'll be both disappointed and enraged to read this:
http://jang-group.com/thenews/nov200...main/main3.htm I wonder how people are living with such pathetic criminals as law-enforcers. (By the way, BMDD, i could not find the news on the link you provided regarding: Police thrash Sonia, son on Lahore roads... could you please provide the exact link?) ----- I'll comment on the news items that you mentioned in your post later on insha'ALLAH. Assalam Alaikum,
This is the story posted in Yesterday's The News: __________________________________________________ ________________ Police thrash Sonia, son on Lahore roads Bureau report ISLAMABAD: Sonia Naz and her two-year-old ailing son were dragged and physically thrashed on roads in Lahore the other day by the Elite Force of Punjab after she appeared before a police inquiry team along with father and mother-in-law. A night earlier in the shelter house of Asma Jhangir, Sonia was also dragged out of her room and beaten by the Punjab women's police assigned to protect her when she tried to celebrate the second birth day of her ailing son who, too, is residing with her. A weeping Sonia told The News that after the honourable Chief Justice Iftikar Mohammad Chaudhary started giving him justice, the attitude of the Punjab police has changed and they have begun humiliating and torturing her without any rhyme or reason. She said she was under pressure to withdraw her case particularly, from the court of the honourable CJ. Sonia's frantic calls to IGP Major Ziaul Hassan to save her from police torture on the road did not yield any result as he did not take the calls of the victim, who was trying to save herself from torture while holding her son in her arms. "They even did not spare my ailing son who was bitterly weeping when I was being dragged and beaten on the roads. A lot of people gathered there to see how I was thrown in a van and beaten by those who were supposed to take care of me," Sonia said. "What is the use of getting justice from court of the Chief Justice if back in Lahore, the Punjab police and their bosses were settling scores with me. As they are helpless before the honourable Chief Justice, they are trying to take it out on me," Sonia said. However, Sonia said that after she was beaten, the staff officer of the IGP contacted her. He promised to look into the issue. But, Sonia complained that nothing had happened as she was once again dealt severely by the women's police led by DSP Zahida and Rehana. The News tried to get the version of Punjab police but IGP Major Ziaul Hassan and his staff officer Abid Hussain were not available for comments. _____________________________________ Thanks. |

ASSALAM-O-ALAIKUM!
From the last days, Two cases are get burning news. One is Mukhtaran Mai and other is Sonia Naz. Just think, that both are victims but Are they getting Justice from our Judicary System? Many NGOs and Human Right Commission are involved and taking interest in these cases, but Are they got Justice from Government of Pakistan? Who are their Crimnals? They are their natives. But now this is a Political iSSUE and out Govt and Oppositing are playing game. Area MPAs and MNAs are involved in this case, so??? Also there is a third case of Dr. Shazia, What about her? I think that in Pakistan there is no Justice nor Peace. Ordinary people cannot afford to buy Justice. So there is only one solution that kill ur enemy or leave the country... Salaam,
They are not going to get any Justice. It's useless for them to cry. Because everyone's soul is dead in this country! You can have a revenge if you're strong, but you can't have justice if you're weak! All those ladies should understand this fact and live with the reality! The crimes will be avenged by God (The Almighty). Regards, Adil Memon

President quoted as saying:
"If you want to be a millionaire, just get yourself raped!" In this atmosphere o such a horrible assessment of the character of these innocent women, to me; its absolutely insane of these ladies to expect an impartial inquiry into the ordeal ,they were compelled to face |

Fyi...
By the way, if anyone of you have not actually heard him saying it, I wanted to share the link with you guys that contains the exact words of our worthy president. Listen to the last 45 seconds of the recording:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...092301253.html He said that this has become a popular saying in Islamabad that if you want to go abroad, get a visa for Canada or become a millionaire......... Hear it urself. And when washingtonpost exploited the matter, this is what he was quoted saying: "These are not my words, and I would go to the extent of saying I am not so silly and stupid to make comments of this sort," --- A rather pathetic statement.
