MQM's reservations over Dr Shoaib Suddle?

Is he a feasible choice to be here in Sindh as IG?
What the future seems from your prespective in terms of Karachi's peace?

The “citizens of Karachi” have serious reservations over Shoaib Suddle’s appointment as the Inspector General (IG) of Sindh Police, Sattar said. “Suddle is involved in the murder cases of hundreds of our activists,” he alleged. “We [expressed] our reservation over his appointment on Saturday night, and we were told by them that ‘Shoaib is our hero’.”

According to me MQM is just worried because they see the new IGP as a hurrdle in doing what they'r used to do(land grabbing, criminal activities, "bhata khoori").we have just seen the one side of the picture why don;t they tell us about the innocent people killed by mqm's men???.I have met many people from karachi all off them have expressed serious reservations about MQM.Most of the neutral people have no objection to the appointment of Mr.Shoaib.I think the MQM should now stop behaving like a fascist party and admit that karachi belongs to all the pakistani's and all the political parties equally and not just them.

A brief intro about Sohaib Suddle

* Shoaib Suddle was the deputy inspector-general (DIG) of Karachi at the time of the Mir Murtaza Bhutto killing; he was one of the most senior officers at the scene of the crime.
* Shoaib Suddle’s name was nominated in the FIR of Mir Murtaza Bhutto murder.
* He was DIG Sindh police during 1990s operations in Karachi.
* Shoaib Suddle was IG Balochistan at the time of operation by previous Govt
* He co-drafted the Police Order 2002 and takes deep interest in criminal justice and public service reform.
* He did his Masters in Physics and LL.B. from University of Punjab and another Masters in Criminology from University of Wales.

To the utmost agony of Motahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM), Asif Ali Zardari has sent Dr. Shoaib Suddle as the new Inspector General of Sindh. Dr. Shoaib Suddle in not new for Karachi and MQM, and MQM and Karachi are not new for Dr. Shoaib Suddle. Shoaib Suddle has done it before and been there, seen it and yes done that once again.

Dr. Shoaib Suddle was DIG Karachi fro June 1995 till Nov 1996 during the second tenure of Benazir Bhutto, and the interior minister was none other than Naseerullah Baber, the man who really choked MQM’s terrorism in Karachi during that period. Naseerullah Baber owed his success in bringing law and order back to Karachi with the aid of Shoaib Suddle and Tariq Lodhi, who has also been sent to Karachi along with Shoaib Suddle as IB chief.

Dr. Shoaib Suddle has done his Doctorate in White Collar Criminology from University of Wales Cardiff. When he was looking after Karachi in the mid nineties, he was so successful that he had reduced the monthly killings of 350 in June 1995 to zero in January 1996. He has established his mole network within the cadres of MQM so deep that he was able to hear the telephonic conversations of the terrorists and he was aware of the second-by-second happenigs in the Nine Zero, the dreaded headquarter of MQM.

Though Dr. Shoaib wasn’t much willing to take on this responsibilities as he is about to retire from the service in couple of months and was serving cozily in the Police department in the lush greenary if Islamabad, but he has assigned this task by Zardari himself.

Asif Ali Zardari is pursuing a right policy of carrot and stick for MQM. At one side he is showing them power sharing opportunity in the Sindh Assembly, and on the other side he is showing them Shoaib Suddle and Tariq Lodhi. Karachiites desperately needs someone like Dr. Shoaib Suddle as MQM has once again militarized and strengthened it’s trenches and ready to give Karachi a bloodbath. One glimpse was the Nishtar Park mass assassinations of Sunni Tehrik’s whole leadership, and then came 12th May and then came the 9th April. Pakistan cannot afford more such gruesome happenings.

Dr.shoaib suddle is an obstacle in the way of MQM's looters. He does follow the merit, if u people have read the newspaper of today he has given that for the posts of constables he was phoned and he had met jamali as well, he was told to hire the 22 people of jamali, but he replied that many poor people are waiting for their promotion.
When he was the IG of Quetta, balochistan i can assure the posts were completely on merit, and complete peace was observed over here.

whenever MQM is against someone everyone gets idea that he is the right man suddle is a revolutionary man for it and the day is not far when these crooks will leave drinking blood of our brothers and sisters
we have suffered alot from these people like MQM and PML-Q as these kind of things never happen in other cities only where MQM has its base and PML-Q has its base the day on 9 april PML-Q leadership was in karachi and everything was planned by them for the revenge
