Ammendments In Police Ordinance
 

I heard that punjab govt. with the cooperation of federal govt. is trying to ammend police ordinance.is this true? can any1 tell me about proposed ammendments?will there be a change in recruitment process into punjab police?

[B]Yes, obviously, a big change will be there after amendments in Recruitment process, as before 2002, the posts of Inspectors and DSP's would also be advertised. [/B]
[B]Now the only gates to enter into the police department are,,[/B]

[B]1) Constable ( Matriculation)[/B]
[B]2) P,ASI ( Intermediate)[/B]
[B]3) ASP ( Through Css).[/B]

[B]If the Govt brings the amendments, it would really be helpfull for those who want to join Police department.[/B]
