Default A challenge to the national pride

Today, america and other ruling powers in the world are actively involve in the humiliation of Muslims specially Pakistanis.Americe has included the name of pakistan in the list of thoes countries which will have to follow their new imegration policies.According to this new rule every Pakistani have to give checking his whole on the airport and may be possible that our ministers have also to follow this rule. Our leadership doesn't take any step without U.S's dictation but they havn't care to this infront of their national inerest.Checking on the airport is an invasion of our national eago. Our leaders have recieved kerry lugar bill aid few days before n try to sale out national eago and in the reaction of this bill's aid U.S has expressed their real face

Sorry to say but our rulers and their followers are sold to the fact that even if their American masters ask them to sell the country, they will be happily making arrangements to do so. But as they say,Let Hope Prevail, only way in which Pakistan can save its already rigged ego is either to protest strongly against these inhumane security measures (which our PM has already done) and keep doing so until and unless they ACTUALLY listen to us as a country not as a neo colony. If they do not change their policies then Pakistan should start checking incoming Americans with great scrutiny as well.It is ironical as most of the ppl traveling to Pakistan with the green card are Pakistani citizens themselves so common Americans wouldn't really face the music of their actions nor do they care.

Last but not least, the only option left for Pakistan is to start locating and start closing in on the American officials and citizens operating within Pakistan(the ones who are purely American and are staying here for no reasonable cause). Or start checking NATO and American ships coming over to Karachi harbor to deliver goods to Afghanistan through Quetta. There is a great presence of foreign elements in the country and the government is well aware of it.Its time they start treating them as others treat us Paksitanis.

But as I already said, these are just suggestions and I don't see anyone in our government to think on these lines and to actually do something to save our ripped EGO and self respect.

Tit for tat. Pay them in the same coin. Pass them from the same checking process in Pakistan.

Default We have a Choice to make!

abari, with all due respect- why shouldnt they? We have proved ourselves to be unreliable time and again. Here I am not just talking about terrorism. Be it drug smuggling or illegal immigration- our people have infact caused them enough problems. I agree that they are still biased and a big reason for applying such derogatory laws on us is creation of a bad name for us, universally. But we also need to respect ourselves first in order for others to do so. Our leaders and administrators have failed at giving us that self-esteem. Terrorism can only flourish in a place where people

a) dont have adequate education and

b) where unemployment is on a rise and people have nothing constructive to do as well as nothing to eat.
The worst portrayal of this dillemma is seen in the underdeveloped FATA region as well as other tribal belts- from where such people are recruited for the most part.

On a social level as well, we keep debating about the correct version of Islam and we all agree that it has to be moderate in nature, yet when it comes to selecting the sort of medrassahs or mosques we patronize- we dont think. Such debate is often shunned in the name of sectarianism but the sad fact is that whether we like it or not- sects within Islam exist in large numbers, and all cant be right- atleast socially speaking, for I cant claim a certain sect to be right in God's eyes. It is not about Sunni Islam or Shia Islam- for within Sunni sect too, there are sects whose leaders are proponents of jihad as is being waged today. I havent really found out about Shia jihadi groups other than those operating from Iran or supported by it (eg, Hezbollah). Any country will have to be dead crazy in order to welcome people like us to live amongst them.

Dear Abari unfortuately, i Pakistan we don't have leaders. We have rulers who are here to rule us not to serve us. They don't care about us, these cowards are takig actios agaist the sovereignty of Pakistan just to please their Foreign lords. They are ot couregous enough to protect us.
I have an incident to tell about the courage of government and it's decision making powers. Mossa Hassan was an Iranian and he lived in Shiraz. He was a businessman and he imported machinery from America. He went to America for some business and he landed at John .F. Kennedy Airport, at 3 in the morning. The airport officials stopped him and started investigating him. They investigated him for several hours until he get senseless and he got admitted to the hospital. He paid 18thousand dollars as hospital bill. He went back to Iran and he filed the petition in the court about such discriminatory behavior and requested that the American citizens should also be treated like Muslims are treated in America. He said why a Muslim citizen has to give his finger prints and many other useless details and bears the humiliation. The American should also give their finger prints and all such information when they come to Iran. On 19th November, 2006, it became the law of Iran for every American citizen. It is compulsion for every American citizen to give its finger prints and other details before getting entered in Iran. This is what we call courage and power to take the decision. Same courage is needed in Pakistan. The Pakistani government should protect the sovereignty and dignity of their people. They should not forget that they are here to serve us not to rule us. If American government is doing this with why can't we do it with them???
