@ Xenia
Mr Waseem said tht when a nation gives another a MFN status the other nation has to reciprocate before she can get the benefits of tht MFN status. This statement had made things bit simpler for me. But now u saying a diff thing citing Pak-USA tht Pakistan has nt reciprocated but still getting benefits. I can understand each part individually but wen i try to put all of that in a working model i get to wonderlands Anyhow thanx 4 ur support nd efforts but perhaps im better off with preliminary knowledge of it. Aint my field so the more i try to go in depth, the more confused i get. Thnx 2 all those who tried |

i m sorry if i confused u...understand 1 thing--the thing on paper is very different from reality..WTO is a very politicized thing..if u dont understand it dont delve into it!
just 1 thing..its a MULTILATERAL arrangement n asks members to lower their tarrif n non tarrif barriers so there can be more international trade n lesser discrimination.. here is the link of this MFN principle.. http://www.wto.org/english/theWTO_e/..._e/fact2_e.htm
