At least 20 days (if you are exceptionally genius) and at most a year. It varies from person to person depending upon subjects opted, seriousness involved and intelligence.

i think 20 day time is very short even though anyone is extra ordinary genious. bcoz css is not childs play.

Yes it is a very short time yet I know a person who did it in just 20 days. Lately he is at CSA for CTP.

kissan ne jwab na diya aur chal parra..agley chakkar pe wapis pohuncha to musafir ne dobara poocha to kissan ne jwab na diya.

it depends on your speed and abilities. Last Island is correct if some one is exceptionally genious he can prepare in 20 days.(he just needs to give one reading to everything) and for some even 3-4 years are less..

You your self are the best judge to know after measuring the distance (the amount of syllabus) that how much its easy for you. and in how many days you can cover and learn all these things.
You you self know better about your self than any one else.
So please have a look at syllabus decide your optional subjects.And asses how much time it may take.

For average students 1 year is sufficient if they study regularly and with hard work and good technique. but all these terms are subjective I cant convert then into objective or concrete. Yes you may asses that in better way.

As for as ur query is concerned,i will say that its purely subjective and personal question so answer would be also same wid regard to personal approach,but despite of that i will say,if u study for [B][I]six months [/I][/B]wid open mind and heart plus wid other factors as my above members explained in sheer manner so u can easily hit the bull eye.
