Well, i know a retired bureaucrat who has established an NGO with the aim of women development but his hidden agenda is women exploitation !
One of our colleague worked there for some months and when she came to know the real motives of the CEO, she quit.
One should thouroghly research about the atmosphere of the place of work before entering in it and shold also know the reputation of the people running that particular NGO. The black sheeps are found in every sphere of life, it is our duty to expose them.

keeping in view the current situation of country, women should work in those NGOs which really aims to heal the society and solve the problems of common person (esp: of women). being a woman, they can understand their problems.

most of the NGOs working in our country work for their own purpose, i don't know what they do, why they spend lot money, when a criminal dies all the NGOs protest that this is the violation of basic human rights but when a police soldier dies nobody come to condole with him...

Exclamation What about those with poverty/joblessness as basic compulsion

Dear friends,
I know many girls who work on PCO, courier shops, an these are the places which are in the middle of main markets. Poverty is the main cause behind this, girls comming to NGOs have no other options.
I am serving in different NGOs from last 5 years, I have seeen many good and bad NGOs and many good and bad persons. Govt. should take a step forward and stress the NGOs to practically implement the Sexual harassment policy which they get signed from every employeee befor they join the organisation.
Nice topic
