Black Day in the History of Punjab University

Once again a senior Professor of the PU has been attacked by the students-cum- goons of an organization that has made hostage the PU since last many decades.
The Professor was heading the Disciplenery Committee and explled some members of this organization after through investigation. After reading the news, my mind goes back in the past when we were students at PU and were regularly threantned by its muscle men. Nobody dared to spoke against them as it was like a state for them where they rule.
It is very sad to note that after many decades the situation is same in the campus. The student/teachers/employees are still getting their share of beating every now and then and VC and Governor (Chancler) are helpless.

If candidates of universities from such developed cities are behaving in such an uneducated manner then what will be the situation in backward universities?

@Sociologist PU
Student organization you are talking about used to be very influential and powerful in our times(four years back) but it suffered a severe blow after Imran Khan's incident.Since then it has been trying to find its lost glory and this has been their well known strategy to harbinger their strength by carrying such vicious acts. But one thing is certain-they are not gonna rule like they had been in the past.In my perception recent tragedy is the the final nail in their coffin. It will be remembered in fact as a black day in Jamiaat's history.

Lets bring the Jinnah's and Sir Syed's philosophy
NO POLITICS FOR STUDENTS
That Jameat has proved to be a menace for PU.

islamia university of bahawalpur

some days ago we faced same sort of situation in our university .

i think u all have heard about the students clash in I.U.B on news channel which has caused university closure for more than 15 days . Academic loss of 12000 students !

we can do nothing against these so-called organisations which are operating in different campuses !

only jamiat is terrorist organization?

in our country a large number of student organizations are present.for example ati, msf, apmso, msm, asf, psf, jti, iso, bsf, usf,
in the month of march islamiya university bahawalpur was shut down due to the protest of ati, eveyperson who know the history of iub student organizations verified this point that the people of ati are not students, they are outsider ,
similarly apmso is famous for his terrorist activities,
quaid-azam university remain closed near one month due to clash between punjabi and sindhi students,
in balochistan inclding teachers and students are not safe ,bsf is the name of dangoures, in nothern areas iso play dangirous rule,

but why we hilight only jamiat activities?
i am not favour to union election. during study in pu i always oppose jamiat policies because they were not accordind to my maslik(hanfiya) .
but i accept this the students of jamiat always respect teachers and girls.
in pujab university every year thousand of girls admit every year, but no any girl claim that the people of jamiat show misbehave with her.
i request to all that exmine all students union according to equal bases, not highlight jamiat only.
agay ap ki marzi

dear remember that these fasadis feed on the terror that they ve created among management and the students of our universities. they, through the use of illegitimate force, coerce and harass people and satisfy their urges for domination.

our weakness is their strength so if we feel strong and make it clear to them that we will not tolerate being dictated by them as they aren't any legal authority, situation will improve.

i remember my time in iub as i was student of computer science department with session 2001-2005. ati was more powerful in those days as compared to present. but we, the students(and of course teaches) of computer science department never allowed them to take any advantage. i remember one incident when a couple of "ati ghundas" along with some outsiders entered our hostle with the purpose of creating fear, we acted in unison, beat them up and handed them over to the police along with the illegal weapons they had with them(one pistol and three knives). they never dared to show up again in umer hall...

It is their well-known modus operndi that when public openion rise gainst them, they also started speaking against the incident and disown the workers who did violance.
They get admitted some well-known criminals in the guise of students every year in PU and then let them loose on the students and teachers who are against them and want democracy in the Punjab University.
