Default America&Pak Civil Nuclear deal?

should America make a Civil Nuclear deal with Pakistan like that of India?in my personal opinion this type of deal would enhance Pakistan' image in world'eyes...India will be diappointed as she is continuously trying to destroy Pakistan image as a "Responsible State"...

It took India ten years to get that deal and that was during a time when US was overwhelmingly supporting India.. Pakistan's cash strapped economy cannot afford any such deal even if such an offer was made to Pakistan. Morever, even if somehow gets the deal past US there is a host of other nations that will have to approve this deal and India will be able to more than sway these nations in it's favor. An example of this would be the recent JF-17 avionics deal that was shelved by France under Indian pressure, the same day India gave France the contract to upgrade it's mirage fighters the very same day the French shelved the JF-17 deal.

A more effective solution would be to acquire small reactors from china, it's an option that available and it's an option that may help reduce the energy crisis within the country
