Zulfiqar Ali bhutto was a man of mixed personality. He was having good qualities as well as some bad qualities in his personality. He did some appreciable work for Pakistan, such as Pakistan's constitution of 1973, he initiated atomic energy projects due to which Pakistan became 7th atomic power of the world. He arranged 2nd Islamic conference in Pakistan etc. He was, no doubt, a great politician. he did know how to win the political race.
Besides this, he committed mistakes, such as separation of east Pakistan was due to Zulfiqal Ali Bhutto, Nationalization was another blunder of bhutto. He had rigid behavior.

Separation of east pakistan was not due to ZA Bhutto instead it was due to doings of Yhayha khan.

Separation of East Pakistan was not due to Zulfiqar Bhutto this was the accumulated result of persistent blunders committed by our dictators right from the beginning. When situation went beyond their control, he was entrusted with the charge.

Nationalization was Bhutto's blunder he introduced nice concept in the worst society which was not that mature to handle it honestly and efficiently. Government machinery was not of that integrity level to handle such a great task. We suffered from nationalization due to corrupt and incapable machinery otherwise concept was excellent. He didn't mean to destroy our economic system by throwing it in the face of corruption and red-tapism but ultimately consequences were heartening. His only fault was his miscalculation in this project, he could not predict the expected behavior of his machinery.
