Is court marriage valid in Islam?
Please comment and discuss social and religious issues related to it.

it is just for information,actually nowadays i am working on a project,which is related to women rights,and difficulties which they are facing in Pakistan..

No one will see his sister/daughter to be married by this procedure. You should consult Islamic Scholar for guidance whether its valid or not.

If you ask me, I will say "NO". Ask that person to think 20 times before doing anything unwise.

The court marriage is legally valid, but socially looked down upon.
Every culture has an institution of marriage with certain rules and norms that are approved by the members of society and practiced widely in society. If you deviate from these norms, the other members of society would not approve your action and you and your partner will be in trouble in the long run.
For a happy and long lasting marriage these points should be kept in mind;
..... both the partners and their parents/guardians are agree.
..... Both the families belong to the same socia-economic class.
..... both the partners have similar point of view about the things around
them and have same level of education.
......there is a steady source of income available to couple after marriage.
......there is less interference of in-laws, especially the mother-in-law in the
affairs of the newly wed couple.
