Blast in Peshawar

Commandant FC Sifwat Ghayur along with at least four guards has been killed in a powerful suicide blast in Peshawar area of Saddar, Geo News quoted SP Cantt Wednesday.

The SP Cantonment said the suicide bomber targeted the FC vehicle, adding the injured have been shifted to LRH.

The blast occurred at Deens Chowk, a usually crowded commercial spot. The blast damaged at least three vehicles including one FC’s vehicle carrying Sifwat Ghayur, FC’s Commandant.

The FC Headquarters is situated near the blast site.

The Bomb Disposal Squad, police and other law enforcement agencies approached the area before long and put a security cordon around the blast site.

The firefighters are busy with efforts putting out the fire that encompassed the vehicles after the blast.

These bloody terrorists have again wrecked havoc on the innocent
people of our country.By killing a police officer they have shown that
how coward they are by attacking behind the back.
They dont have the courage to come on front and face our security
personnel.
By doing these activities they are only nearing their doom becaz they know that they have to kill to survive and to sow violence to reap fear....but we are not afraid of them.
We know fully well that a bully and a coward only gives harm to defenceless people.These terrorists are bullies,cowards,killers of innocents.Their days are numbered and how long they will play with our lives.This will have to end.Sooner or later it will have to stop and that day will be a dooms day for these criminals.

I cannot comprehend how many more casualties we have to suffer in the wake our policies. Thousands of civilians have lost their lives and their efforts are ended in smoke. Again a new surge of terrorism is started and more lives are at risk. What we have achieved being an active ally of international community infect at loss and eternal loss. Pakistan WOT policy needs a critical revision else the same spade will continue and condemnation messages will remain in air all the time.

AOA how come is it possible that the driver sitting in the same car with IG FC survived and is not injured seriously ?The driver said that he jumped but how come he was so alert at the time of the blast because if he was so alert then he could even save others lives too .The attitude of driver is suspicious.GOD bless all the shaheeds Aameen.

Dear, did you saw the car of Fc chief after the attack? I think that The terrorists attacked on that side of car where Fc chief was sitting. Because of this, driver side was safe. The driver, fortunately, realized the situation at the time and jumped out that's why he was safe. The terrorists always have a perfect planning, therefor they do get their aims...... It was not important that if the driver was sincere to his chief or not.....the important fact for the terrorist was only this that how to kill Fc chief. I think there was not any mistake of the driver. I think that we should not blame him without any clear proof.

I second the openion of Hina. These attacks are not going to stop for 100 more years, whatever the claims of the interior minister. The only solution is the change of policy. Pakistan is not a small island like Sri Lanka, where the forces will over power the few thousands militants.
And lets speak some truth as well. The taliban phenomenon is purly indeginous and have deep roots in society. A signifiacant segement of our society has soft corner in their hearts for them and yes, they were our brave mujahdins a decade ago ! It is only the U-turn of a dictator that forced them to turn their guns towards Innocent Pakistani people. Lets protect our homeland !
