All the accused including police officials present at the spot may be hanged at the same place in the interest of justice and lesson for others. Thats all. If DPO is found involved, he may be given full dose to make him realize that CSPs are also answerable

They must be hanged at any cost agar aik hafiz Quran ko sarakon pay ghaseeta jaey aur uskay bhai ko jo aik bacha tha maar maar ker khatam ker diya jaey aur wo bhi islami mulk mein.......

Sharam karo sharam karo...........

ISLAMABAD, Aug 22 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has expressed anguish and distress over the regretful event of Sialkot and ordered for the suspension of DPO Waqar Chohan, a federal government officer on deputation with the provincial government. The suspension of the officer was recommended by the Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif when he rang up the Prime Minister Sunday evening to brief him over the unfortunate incident.

-------------------

Litigants and counsel were shocked and the atmosphere became tense when the gruesome video footage aired by a private TV channel was shown in the courtroom. And it was too much to bear for the grief-stricken grandfather and father of the deceased who started wailing after watching it.

When DPO Chauhan informed the court that the SHO concerned had been arrested, but culprits were yet to be detained, the chief justice said he (Mr Chauhan) deserved to be suspended and sent to jail straightaway. The negligence shown by police could not be ignored, the CJ observed.

“What message have you given to the world about Pakistan,” he asked the DPO and said: “Nowhere in a civilised society such an incident takes place in the presence of police.”

He said the country was already facing disasters and crisis with people dying of hunger, but police were indulging in extra-judicial killings.

The chief justice deplored the apathy of top police officers and senior federal government officials who were aware of the incident.

“Not only it was the duty of police to stop those who were beating the two brothers, but the people in the mob should also have shown moral courage by preventing the beating,” the chief justice said.

The tragic incident in Sialkot shows that we have hit rock bottom in terms of moral values set by any culture or religion. Our Police has re-assured our nation that it cannot be our guardian for whatever reasons.

It is a condemnable act but the problem is much deeper than just few people beating those kids in the streets of Sialkot. If we take such other incidents happened in the near past and objectively examined, we see that there is an anguish in the people from all parts of the country which is primarily due to non-functioning or malfunctioning of state institutions. The most important being the law and justice system in the lower courts which remains highly corrupt and cases drag on for years.

I am not saying Pakistani Police is a saintly institution but they have their limitations. While Chief Justice might collect applause for his timely action in this case, it is the courts which set most convicted felons free repeatedly and I can quote ATC setting free suicide bombers (caught red handed) in my hometown only for Police to catch them back. Its about time we collectively study the whole problem underlying such incidents and adopt a holistic approach rather than knee-jerk reaction on media reports.

Police should be made free from political pressure and a system of checks and balances should be made for proper accountability.

It is about time we ask for Allah's forgiveness and give up all the evil deeds that have become part of our culture! No wonder Allah is angry with us.

I, here, humbly request all aspirants to please focus on your studies as the time is short for upcoming examination. Why? Where? When? What? is the matter of court to decide and please have grip on your words before using against anyone. No one should be held accused until the final verdict of investigation report. We live in a civilized society and please refrain uttering words which could account against the integrity of Pakistan.

Thank You!

I can't believe still that this barbaric act was carried out by the MUSLIMS..But Infact, those who have shown barbarity were Pakistani Muslims unfortunately.
How cruel they are, even in the holy month of Ramazan, which teach us about the SABAR. We seems to be living in an Inferno, where everyone is insecure and unhappy.
It is the inner desire of the whole nation that the Rulers must treat the culprits of Sialkot Tragedy ironically and give them an unforgetable and painfull punishment sop that no could dare to repeat this..
regards
