Default "Instant Justice" Another thief Lynched in Lahore

Traders and customers caught hold of a man who had stolen a cell phone from a shop in Fruit Market and attacked him with fists and kicks causing his instant death.
It seems Mob Psychology is working at its best these days(and gaining popularity) as people want INSTANT JUSTICE, EXAMPLERY PUNISHMENT which is not possible through the current police and court system.

Just read in the paper that another allaged docoit was lynched by the villagers near Mian Chuno yesterday and they even refused to hand over his body to the Police.
It seems the Doctrine of INSTANT JUSTICE is spreading fast in the country. We can expect more incidents like this in future. (Be aware all thieves and robbers)

According to Express newspaper, same incident happened in Multan yesterday, where some villagers killed an alleged Decoit...they claimed that decoit used to take drugs also, thatswhy they killed him.it seems that our nation ostensibly condemns Sialokot incident but actually it has learnt no lesson from this brutal and inhuman act...

Its not an instant justice But sheer injustice.

We are heading towards Talibanisation.

Well, i can say with confidence that our law enforcement agencies have failed ! Now it is upto us to keep them on our heads or look for another alternative.
It was amazing to read in the paper (Express August,31) that SHOs of police stations are calling "shurfa" of their areas to collect fund for instlation of security cameras in the police station. Now if you know a little bit of police culture, these shurfas are those people who runs gamling dens, brothels, herion sellers and other such traders. Why a law-abiding citizen will provide "funds" to police ?
And what these Shurfas will expect in return from Police ? Everybody knows ! I wonder our briliant PSP officer does not know all this while a person in street knows all this ?
So why not people will take matters in their own hand ? The farmers who lynched the robber in Mian Chuno said they previously handed over such robbers to the concerned police, but they were released So it is the logical result that is happening and going to happen !

All these ferocious attempts on the part of public is an another manifestation of MOBOCRACY in large. In absence of good governance and transparent and speedy justice people do take the justice in their own hands and vent their simmering feelings out. Until the grievances of the public remain un-addressed the elusive situation will remain unlikely to change.
These mind boggling incidents must be an eye opener for the incumbent government who does not seem sincere enough to tackle the issues confronted by a common.
Now the time is ripe for a broad based long term and sustainable strategy which could influence the collective psyche of populace which seems running out of the track owing to traumatic complications of poverty, inflation, unemployment, partiality and feudalism.

CJ must realize that Suo Moto action is not the solution. He must force the govt and law enforcement agencies to bring reforms in the system. Police cannot be held accountable for its working unless atleast two changes are brought in the Police Department at the earliest i.e. Pay packege and 08 hours shift duty. You cannot expect a smile and good response from an official who performs 18 to 20 hours duty a day. It is also a formost duty of the govt and oppsition to put the heads together and ameliorate the system putting aside their personal motives and interests. Nation lacks real education and awareness. Their violent behaviour is alarming.

Arrow How people behave?

Dear members,
There are a lot of problems and difficulties which Police officers do face while performing their duties.

Yesterday, when I was on duty, a well dressed person came to the Police station in civilian dress. When duty Police constable stopped him at the gate of P.S and asked for his identity(due to the terror situation ), He started to raise a hue and cry. He used to misbehave and tried to beat the constable while the constable was in uniform.

He was abusing and saying,'' doesn't the constable know that he is a big lawyer of the city and he will see all the Police because how and why the constable stopped him and asked him for his identity and why the constable dishonored him".

Today, he submitted a writ petition against Police and said that the Police misbehaved him.

I was present there when he misbehaved and I know that his petition is completely false and not based on reality.

Now I have some questions to all of you and to all the nation that,

1. What do you say that who was wrong?
2. Should an educated person(lawyer) do this kind of behaviour?
3. Is this not the right of police to ask for some ones identity?
4. What should Police do if our so called lawyers misbehave them?
5. How can Police perform its duties well if people behave this way ?
6. Why people think that police constables are just third persons?
7. Are we a civilized nation?
8. Why people don't think that policemen are human beings?
9. Is our police completely wrong?
10.Why people always want to threat the Police?
11.Is this a dishonor of a person if Police wants to verify the identity of him.
etc, etc, etc.....??????

Chishty bhai,

Be carefull of lawyers these days. They are behaving like Nuri Nat and Mula Jut. Have not you seen their behaviour in the last few months in the court compounds ?
They need to be shown "Drawing Room" in Ploice stations.

Indeed, that was a sad incident and no sane person can favour this act of the above mentioned lawyer...but bro!dont you think that Police Officers have themselves destroyed their image..??I do admit that they are not the third persons of the country and our society is not civilized but all this is due to the indifference atitude of the Police Officers towards the common citizens....People always want to threat the Police because of their existing mindset, they used to think that all police officers or constables are corrupt..therefore,they dont give them respect....nobody is above all, that constable was completly right in his act but problem is now with the IMAGE of Police Officers
