Anchor persons of renowned TV channels who guise themselves as 'Ameeru-ul-Momineens' and angels are trying to collapse the current legitimate institutions of the country. What else is revolution, I think the biggest change was the expulsion of notorious dictator "General Musharaf" from the country and setting the democratic rule again on track.

Through the sensational news and discussions of media, masses are becoming violent and going for Civil Disobedience to boycott the electricity bills, Sialkot issues and similar other incidents are linked with this concept. An organized conspiracy is underway to undermine the democracy in the country and paving the way for undemocratic forces to capture the reins of power intentionally or unintentionally.

Come on dude !! don't be so personal. Why the elected president is so hated by the undemocratic forces. Security of President is laid down in Blue Book and law enforcement agencies are bound to act upon Blue Book for the protection of President. It is not president to direct the administration that 80 vehicles should be there in his motorcade rather its written code to ensure security of VVIPS. You can't watch out videos of motorcades of Obama, Indian VVIPS and of other democratic countries which have similar arrangements.

He could easily and safely travel with 1/4th of this security, this is absolutely a waste of public resources and offcourse causing a sheer inconvenience to others on the roads. I hope he will be spanked really hard one day for this "fironiat", whether or not in this world.

Senior member crown prince you are right that Normally we take things so much personnel . It is in general.
There isn't any thing wrong with president's protocol but we desire that he have to live an ordinary life like with so big responsibility, may be there are ethical objections that countries like us are not in position to afford such luxury,
but it is an old tradition which is developed because of those incidents which happened with the past premiers.
And it is not the only president who have so super protocol, then what are the reasons only to make objection's for him.??

Sounds funny seriously...you comparing Zardari with Obama and Indian VVIPs. they all may be able to afford all this pomp and show but we can't. Remember Obama gives us a [B]Pocket Money to Run our Country[/B]. So we can't show extravagance like him. in fact we can but we shouldn't!!

I am comparing them as heads of states and governments of democratic countries. Pervez Musharaf was not a legitimate head of state but he had three motorcades. What you then if our country is poor then President should ride on motorcycle or in auto rickshaw ?

It is a fact that we are not able to utilize our natural resource and rely on foreign add but do remember Pakistan is an influential country in the world and nuclear state as well. It is a fact that beggars are not choosers but it is not a 'Kherat' at all instead it is the price paid to us for our sacrifices and involvement in their war which is nothing as compared to losses.

These all charges are not proved in the courts and President spent many precious years of his life in prison due to political victimization. These things are used as political victimization and blackmailing. This thread was about increasing violence in the country not to discuss the character of President. :nono
