pakistan is facing lots of problems and pakistan has been facing it from the very beginning
i believe,to describe pakistan's main problem in one sentence would be injustice
but the thing is we have to consider the root problem keeping the ground realities in mind
no doubt, there is poverty, lack of a managed social, political, econimcal and judicial system which are raising many other problems at almost each and every level but the thing is where the origin of these above mentioned problems lies.
this(contamination) lies within ourselves, within every pakistani no matter which status he/she bears.
i believe, the president or higher authorities and a sweeper/beggar are standing in the same queue in this regard
and that root problem is dishonesty/lack of salvation which can also be termed as "selfishness" its a very simple and cruel fact.
regards

Pakistans number one problem is the Kaamchori/Hadharam/keenaparwari/hasad etc, in precise words "Neglecting to perform our own duties/responsibilities" and blame others/system that they hav't performed their duties/they are the corrupted ones, infact we are the ones who are basically corrupt & neglectful persons. In short when we are true to urselves, nobody dare to do anything contrary.

Default hmmm

our main problem is that even after so many years we are a mob not a nation.in other words no common goals due to individualistic approach

Default Pakistan's problem

I think the biggest problem the country is facing is the Leardership crises. Its been more than 60 years and we have not been able to produce a chunk of good leaders.

Great leaders can change the fate of the nation, we have the example of Mahatir Muhammad who raised Malaysia from an underdeveloped and deprived country to one of the world's fastest growing economy.

Countries like Russia, China, India, Brazil and many more are among the countries who have achieved much in short span of time.
