@Samra: Everyone has his/her own way of thinking and expression of thoughts, but I'm a pacific human being and always try to highlight the positive aspect of things, on your statement I would like to say that,
As for discrimination on the basis of color is concerned, as far as my limited mind is concerned, I think, in Pakistan, to some extent, yes! let me give you a limited geographical analysis about what's happening inside Pakistan. A punjabi always emphasizes on discriminating between a punjabi and a pathan on the basis of color, pathans also have the same psyche of discrimination. It's not the twenty first century because of which this psyche of people is developing, but it is continuing from ages.
As far as discrimination of race is concerned I disagree with your statement! I think twenty first century has become the first step towards ending the racism from all over the world. It was before twenty first century that Black people had no rights except the right of living. It's the twenty first century where the increasing literacy and open mindedness of people helped decreasing the racism factor, and the Marketing of this statement in different countries, ''Say no to Racism'' has helped a lot in creating awareness in people about this factor, in sports sector, especially before the start of the Olympics, Cricket World Cup, Football World cup and other international tournaments, this statement is raised because of which many people's psyches are changing. Let me tell you, as a Muslim it is our belief, our holy prophet (PBUH) said in the last farewell pilgrimage that, ''No arab is superior over ajam and no ajam has superiority over an arab, all are equal in Islam.'' Being a muslim it's compulsory for us to follow our prophet's instructions which emphasizes on the statement ''Say no to Racism''.
As for discrimination on the basis of religion is concerned, I would like to say as a muslim that A Muslim can't be a friend of a non muslim, this is the religious factor behind it! There is a great difference between a Muslim and a non Muslim, in Islam, if a person admitts Islam as his religion, he will be granted Heaven, Simmilarly every religion has its own ideology, so people having religious differences can't prove to be good friends...

No, discrimination exists since the very beginning. In every society we can find discrimination on the basis of religion, color, creed, sect, nation, race, clan, tribe. I think it is quite natural for human beings. Islam denies all types of discrimination but like other teachings it has also been not followed sincerely.

What is going on in Karachi which is a city of Muslim state? it is the worst example of ethnic discrimination. Similarly, in our country minorities are harassed on the basis of religious discrimination although our religion puts great responsibility on state for protection of dhimis.

what can be done to erase discimination...to educate all the explioted ones of their basic rights...to raise voice against the expoiters....to guard ones own fundamental rights....do good and have good...live and let the other live...no arbi has advantage over an ajmi and vice versa similarly no white man has advatage over a black man and vice versa..the most prestigious is he who is most pious and MUTTAKI..then why to say FIRST OF PAkistan..is it not a sort of ETHNONATIONALISM???
