Default selfishness is our biggest enemy

selfless citizens lead to progressive nation. That is what my dear land lacks in.. A corrupt politician would never make a decision against his own self interests no matter how fruitful may it be. A doctor would go on strike letting hundereds of people deal with death -throwing away the oath of devotion to the profession-as long as his wages are not increased. In my land an engineer would prefer to go abroad for earning capital why should he settle for something less like nation serving. Remember what did an american intelligence officer said “you are so cheap… we can buy you with a visa.”why wouldnt he say so when shakeel afridi a pakistani helped CIA in capturing bin laden. selfishness is our biggest enemy!

Default Irrationality is pakistan's biggest enemy.

WE as a nation are irrational, do not believe in reason and i think this is the worest thing which is stoping us to follow a good path and work for it. We believe in what is taught, is said in media without any thought. We tends to believe in consirpacy theories. And no country is our enemy if we are strong and rational then no one can defeat us. No country has time to think about us. If they are really our enemy then they can destroy us in seconds.
We are tero tolerance nation, we tend to believe illogically and that is one of the biggest problem. WE get emotional, are double standard. WE have tolerance for terrorism, polio, illiteracy.
And all are problems we are facing are the outcome of lack of reason.

Professional honesty is a rare commodity in Pakistan and that is the main reason we lag behind the other members of the global community.

[QUOTE=Saleeqa Batool;315765]We have yet to decide as to who is our real enemy. The national is completely divided over it due to multiple factors such as lack of knowledge, emotionalism, propaganda, vested interests etc. There are different theories and beliefs prevailing in Pakistan.

who is our real enemy is not much difficult to recognize. India America, Taliban are our those enemy to whom we can see and understand but these enemies are supported by black sheep with in us.if we look at past history of Muslims of subcontinent all Muslims rulers were throne out by the intrigues of some one with in them (ghadddar). How we can forget the
1. Abdullah bin Abi Salool( munafiq) at the time of Holy Prophet(SAWW)
2. Mir Jaafar at the time of Siraaj Ul Dola
3. Mir Saadaq at the time of Tipu Sultan.
These all played betrayal and mad many harms for Muslims. Other wise Marhatas and sikhs were not able to destabilize the Muslim empire though they were the known enemies of Muslims.
Before looking outside we must look with in us we will get the answer of our question

i dare to diverge from your point a bit sister..
traitors had always been part of growing nations they play with the weaknesses of a society. Holding traitors responsible for the decay of whole nation is a little too much of injustice to the hardworks of myopic leaders, irrational decision makers and self centred individuals(with unquestionable nationalism)

I think it is not time to find our real enemy it is time to find our real friend in the international community. We need good friends in the world now because we are facing challenges from internal and external both sides so we should be careful to tackle this situation. Our foreign policy is so weak that we can't talk with other nations to treat us as same of them because Pakistan is a nuclear power in the world and its importance should be accepted in the world now but sadly our leadership is not capable to cash this opportunity and put pressure on the international community solve our problems. Why our whole nation only focus on India always when there is an event like cricket, hockey or something else we give so much importance to that. We hate India in many aspects but still we watch their movies their TV channels their shows why?
