Default Crack down of Maddrassahs !

AoA

I pray for welbeing of all of you and prosperity from the Most Gracious and the Most Merciful

What are the Madrassahs ? In my small knowledge madrassahs or masajids are more than the place to learn Nazarah and offering Prayers. In true essence of Islam, which is evident from its history, the Madrassahs and Masajids were the centre of social, academic and cultural gatherings and multi facet topics were being deliberated there.

But what about the current situation in the country, except to some Madrassahs and Masajids, majority are increasing sectarianism wherein Molana sb of one school of thought term the molanas of other schools of thought as infidels etc. But they are not even aware of true meanings of infidels, i suppose, it is inscribed in the Holy Quran, (only extract): ' when two of groups of Muslims fight each other, make peace between them, and fight to the group, who is on wrong till that group come on the right.'

the Holy Quran is saying two do not say any one infidel then who we, with very short knowledge term to other school of thought as kafir etc. it doesnt mean that Qadiyanis would come into the fold of Islam, they cannot at any cost come under the fold of Islam, however, what about the Brailvis, Deobandis, Shias etc. all are Muslims. First of all, we have to rule out all such secterianism.

Last week, two friends of mine were deliberating on a issue that a boy of 15 went missing for two days, when his parents sought out, it revealed that he went on Jihad. He didnt even conceal his going on Jihad to his parents and other family members and it was lime lighted that he had been sitting with a Molana sb, who first of al claded him with Imama and taught him about the wrongs going around the world and importance of jihad and then about benefits of shahadat and then he left his home.

His tender mind didnt get that there is Haqooq ul Ibad, his parents are in their old age and needs him and the Molana sb, who would b in his forties, i suppose, didnt go himself to jihad and sending him if there is any thing very important, why he is not going there and just eating dawats etc.

Hazrat Awais Qarni (R.A) was stopped by the Holy Prophet (PBUH) from his visit and was advised to look after his old mother.

Hadith-e-Mubarka say that Jihad Akbar is Maqbool Hajj and fight with ones Nafs is also a great Jihad, we need Jihad Bis Saeef but first of all we have to equip overselves with the latest technologies and then we can do that jihad easily.

Look Khalid Bin Waleed, Akrama Bin Abu Jehl, Mawiya, Saad Bin Abi Waqas, Zarrar Bin Azwar, Mohammad Bin Qasim etc. were the best of the generals and statesmen and very seldom lost in the battlefield, why because they were equipped with the latest state-of-the-art of their own times, why should'nt we learn from it ?

So far as the latest reforms are concerned, i opine that

- madrassahs should be registered to bring them in the main fold of educational system as what is the sin of those devoted Muslim childern who very often adjust themselves in the normal life because of their prejudiced educational pattern.

- their sylabi should be changed and other branches of knowledges should be included in it. There is no problem in learning Chemistry or Physics as Averros, Avicenia, Al-Hazen the forefathers of these learnings were all Muslims and they learnt in the Madrassah systems. There is also no problem in learning English or other foreign languages as Rasool Allah (PBUH) himself asked his companions to learn the languages of other countries.

- the Maddrassahs, which are increasing sectarianism should be cracked down, not only for the integrity of country but also of Islam.

- the Maddrassahs should be checked in a mannered way and not problematic situation occur as did happen at Lal Masjid, Islamabad last week. Good Maddrassahs should be encouraged.

- There is no 'Rahabaniat' in Islam, but in the most of Maddrassahs the pupils are not only physically and sexualy harrased but also they are mentally tortured per se they cannot enter into the main fold of normal life.

- The students stdying in Maddrassahs or who have completed their educaton should be replica/model of modesty and high calbir of knowledge (both spirtual and worldly) but regretfuly on certain occassions greed can easly be got from their eyes and from their deeds

(May Allah forgive me if i commited any wrong in above lines)

One cannot be more correct. I would only like to add one important point leading to the contemporary displeasing role of the religious schools commonly known as Madrassahs. A closer reconnoiter into the process of enrollment of students says it all. In our society, as all of us are well aware, first choice institute of the majority of parents is never a Madrassah. It is only after one's inability to persue normal education has been established, or one is physically impaired do they send their descendants to those centers of religious education. Additionally, if parents come to realize that the kid has been a cause of much disturbance and has turned a vagabond wanderer they start looking for some nearby Madrassah.

Now these rejected elements of normal educational system, are taught one radical brand of the religion or the other. Those who fall prey to the 'Wahabi', 'Salfi' or 'Al-Saudi' school of thought become increasingly millitant and intolerant. They bear down on any ideas, customs, values, feelings and teaching even slightly different to those held by them.

The menace of terrorism, infact has its roots in the very philosophy of 18th century evil-genius of Saudi Arabia-Abdul wahab. His disciples, often refer to lists of omissions and commissions which automatically render one infidel. They hold it sacred to kill non muslims and muslims of conflicting ideas alike.

Lets hope that this very inflamatory sect, inflamed by Zia-ul-Haq and presented by Usama in the contemporary world is nipped in the bud sooner than later.

May the peace be the world order.

Thanx
Take care
Allah Nigeh.ban
