First you have to decide what you mean by being powerful?

I will define power as " ability to influence and control others".

I cant see any where that jews are influencing or controlling others ( specially muslims) by themselves.They dont have any special power or influence over other people or nations.

The notion that Israel is controlling USA is wrong.It is the other way round. Israel is supported and Backed by United states for its own Strategic advantages. Why we think Americans are fool? They dont know why their government is doling out funds to Israel? Why USA always veto any step taken by United Nations for establishing peace in the middle east?

As far as Research and inventions are concerned , we must accept that Jews are relatively better than Muslims in these fields.You forgot to mention that both muslim nobel laureates (excluding Mohammad Younas) who won nobel prizes (in natural sciences) worked in foreign non-muslim nations and of the many dozens of jews majority of them (except 3) worked in other nations than in Israel.

So i may accept the notion that muslims are powerless but i will disagree with the belief that Jews are Powerful.(because if they were powerful on their own, Israel would have been the most powerful country in terms of economy and defence)

Why muslims are so powerless can be attributed to many factors from lack of education to blaming external factors (Fate, destiny, Other nations) for their present dreadful circumstances.

In my opinion we do not need genius muslim scholars (as we have plenty of them among us) but a system which can help these geniuses to prove their talents.

It's Not Over 'til I Win

Just wished to share a historic fact, millions of dollars collected by world Jewry in the past to build the world's largest synagogue, were as a substitute, spent on education. Consequently not a single Jew remains illiterate today.
On the other end of the spectrum, we muslims during the mughal era, spent millions on building monuments, buildings, enjoying the company of women etc paying little heed over importance of education., ignorant of the absolute truth 'knowledge is power'!
