well it is and it isn't

it is :- new leaders will rise from middle class families and that will alleviate the monopoly of feudals in the parliament

it isn't :- it will disturb the peace in the educational institutes and no one will attend classes .... beating the teachers would be a common practice :d

well it will definetly bring unrest in eduction.nothing positive comes out of too much politics in educational institution.the focus should hv been improving educational standards not destablizing it.

I think ur idea is quite influenced by the dictatorship. Providing room for students unions may cause unrest for the short period of time but if this system is allowed to establish, it will help us in order to bring democratic values in our national character. thats what is the need of the hour....... so dear think big and have fun

student unions have both merits and demerits in them:
for example lets consider the educational institues here.
in educational institues, student unions play an influential role. they make students conscious of their rights and impart confidence to them.
they help in improving the attitudes of professors and managerial staff with the students.
they help in developing democratic system
but
they make students cross their boundaries and then the students do not actively take part in studies raher they prefer to enjoy the so called authority.
it has no concern with improving the education quality.
almost all the unions work for the motto of some political parties. they destroy the peace of the institutes bcoz the unions which are rival to each other fight just due to some minor conflicts. and so the students involved in these fights spoil their own future. this spoilage is not limited to just one indivdual but to a whole family.
so personally i m of the view that student unions should not be there in institutes bcoz they have more disadvantages than advantages in the educational institutes and they truly speaking only work for the cause of some political parties, not for their educatioinal rights and duties.

@sayas001

well democracy means freedom to speak and write ,i believe in democracy not dictatorship,i can have my say.
Providing room for students unions may cause unrest for the short period of time thats what i said!
but if this system is allowed to establish without victimization that will do good.
we must always look at the positive and negative aspects of things and bring the best for people.

thats what is the need of the hour, exactly but with positive frame of mind

i always thing big and positive and have lot of fun,you should do the same.
regards

Students Should Take Active Part In Politics But Their First And Foremost Duty is To Study.
Students union will also help them to raise their opinion.

It Shld be controlled, difficult but not impossible.
