Whether Pakistan should recognise Israel or not?

I'm not sure if this topic has been discussed here before, but it's something worth discussing.

Keeping the whole scenario in consideration, if Pakistan recognizes Israel, it will have both positive and negative consequences. What according to you could be the positive/negative consequences?

For me, of course the negative impacts outweigh positive impacts in a lot of ways, like:

* Keeping the democratic distortions and financial instability of Israel in view, one may suggest that its not suitable for investment/trade, neither should we expect Israel to cooperate with us in the field of technology (nuclear weapons, and all).

* Pakistan can not recognise Israel in the situation where her case is quite similar to that of Palestine. If it recognises Israel, Arabic States may recognise India's right and her occupation over Kashmir.

*It will motivate the rise of religious and extremist elements in our society and will lead to anarchy, in addition to the polarization of public opinion, like happened recently in the case of blasphemous movie, in which a lot of violent demonstrations were observed in different cities of Pakistan.

* Pakistan can not replace India in the eyes of Israel, since India has strong strategic, geopolitical and economic ties with Israel, so she will definitely incline towards India, no matter what happens.

Thanks! =]

There's no point in recognizing Israel, not even the question arises, and why should the question arise unless Israel accept to accommodate a Palestine state. It won't even serve any national interest, would Pakistan want to break its relations with KSA, Iran and rest of Muslim World ? And what will Pakistan achieve even if it risk its stature in the Islamic world.
Let me quote our 1st Prime Minister Liaquat Ali Khan when he visited Washington post independence, He was offered huge economic assistance and commitment to help Pakistan stand its feet by an influential Jew only if it recognize Israel, Liaquat A.Khan replied,"Gentleman, my soul is not for sale".
