Pakistan,US and Afghanistan are three parties regarding the peace process in Afganistan after withdrawl of US from afghanistan in coming year. many Questions arise regarding the future of region.
1. will US-Afghan negotiations will met success without pakistani involment(people consider that the most powerfull taliban groups are supported by ISI) 2. what will be the future of afghanistan. would the Taliban be able to come in power? 3.what are the stratgies should be followed to bring peace in region??? |

first of all one should not forget that despite of previous economic internal crisis in USA, still it is the sole superpower of the world. it can make such policy changes that may effect the whole scenerio of Afghanistan. against taliban it already has having very strict policy.. USA is successfully countering the Taliban power and now they are limitized in one area of Afghanistan. War on terror though unsuccessful in one regard still it gave positive results as well, like in case of killing of Osama bin laden, world has taken soothing breath, most of major leaders are in prison... 2ndly, pakistan has been ally to USA during War on terror, still it doesnt mean that USA is dependent for its policy implications to the Pakistan. USA ccan very convinently imply its policy in any regard... one may observe the attacks on Iraq, Afghanistan, and now Pakistan is just like a satellite to it.. as Pakistan is dependent for so many things, and in many fields upon Usa. education, military, economic social aids/and/developments... In region of southasia, Pakistan though having a stable position still its a fact that india is more nearer to USA than Pakistan. I past if we observe he relations of two states, it is very clear that Usa never made point in pakistan regards or interest,, instead it bring forward the India in fce of Pakistan.. it shows that pakistan is not the game.changer in region. it may contribute to peace process but will never be able to play role in ultimate decision. it will obviously be of USA.. full n final. 2. future of afghanistan is not so clear yet, as still there is foreign influences. it has no infrastructure. no governmental machinary, what i think is karazai government is just a puppet, showy government whom USA is using for fulfillin its own interest... as far as USA interests are here in Asia, like to compete the rising power of russia(once again) and economic power of china both Pakistan and Afghanistan are having vital role. so usa will never want both these states be stable and developed. apart from this fact, one should know the regional politics, afghanistan is in central position in recent times.. leaving it means failure of all economic and regional interests.. from here USA can easily observe china, iran, india, russia, and korean peninsula. so if afghanisatan is got developed like once it was in Zahir shah era, it willl be a most stable starte in region. however it is not possible because of such prolonged internal confliccts and war.affected it is... 3 to bring peace in region, it is necessary to take some instant steps with short term objectives to be achieved like all refugees in pakistan should be send back to afghanistan, it is so because, after a long period of time has been passed, many of generations has got civilized and educated.. being living in Pakistan, interaction with other people has given them so much awareness that they cannot be called those kind of barbarians or mountainous people. secondly unless and until the afghanistan is not peacefulno strategy for regional peace will give results. three states in Asia; India-Pakistan, and Afghanistan are major states, and their governments are key statte actors in progress and development and peace process. all three states need to be in tri.lateral relations based upon mutual understanding and cooperation. due to some ill.fate, these states can never make it happen that they come with common interests, and can improve their inter-state relations.. On international front if one may notice there are a kind of competition between different states, many of which attacked and fight in Afghanistan for aquiring their National interests. be it England or France, either russia or america, all tried to capture this sole land.. it was for many reason. Because of their national interests, because of strategic position of Afghanistan, or and also the natural resources the Afghanistan possess. so there was a conflict and war.like situation ever presist in Afghanistan. to deal with peace sustaining issue in region, one need to give Afghanistan so much strength and progress that it may become self.dependent. for this cause people of afghanistan may play vital role. they should ccome back to Afghanistan ,,,and as they are hard.working people, they can make it possible. regional politics between different states like India and Pakistan, korean peninsula, iran-afghanistan issues are of great cconcern, and they should be dealt with political wit and foresightness.. relations between regional powers of India and china, china and russia should move towards improvement and on sound grounds they should develop consensus over issues base of their conflicts and are harming the regional stability and peace. |
