The Myth of "High Scoring Subjects"
While going through different threads on this forum I have come across a lot of posts asking or suggesting the so-called "High Scoring Subjects". Personally I don't think there are any subjects (except those related with science) that might potentially be called high or low-scoring. I have seen people scoring a-plenty in low scoring subjects and getting dumped in those that are considered high scoring.
I believe it's the manner in which you attempt a certain paper that counts the most. There are no instructions or mind-set of the examiners biased in favour or against a particular subject. What makes your score high or low is whether your approach is different and original as compared to others or not. You might think differently but this is how I feel things should be and they are. |

Dear i totally agree wid u...its quite right to say, that it totally depends upon ur way of expression...what is ur insight abt different things??....how u understand and articulate ur thoughts???.and its how u convey ur ideas and answers to the checker... i think exam is more an affair of communication between student and examiner..it all depends upon the writing skills...one needs 2 b impressive in writing style to get good marks in any subject... one should also keep in mind ones interest and command on that particular subject...its right that some subj..related to science are marks giving but only if one has interest.and has a full command on it...other wise these subj... sometimes becomes a cause of loosing many marks... regards,

U have mentioned well discussed points.Offcause U hardly find any one who ll come against it. We cant give tag to any subject which is High or Low Scoring . I have seen many candidates who choose Most theoretical subject and secure flying colours. At other hand, Candidates choose practical subjects like Maths , Accounts etc but cant cross the barrier. I guess it is inappropriate to challenge anyone. Sometimes It leads not more than lost. Take Care

100% agree ..............u defined very well. its all upto u and ur insight about that particular subject thats makes subject high or low scoring. it is also true that even by taking science sujects which consider as high scoring and based on aptitude and facts, students fail to come up with flying colours........so better not to confuse urself as well as others regarding high and low scoring.
