Sind Festival, Bilawal Bhutto and Democracy

I was born and grew up in Sind. And I have visited most of the cities in Interior and Urban areas of Sindh. I am unable to know yet that why the people are sindh are intentialy blind.

I do not blame those who are illiterate. Because they are really blind as they can not decide which thing is right and which thing is wrong.

But my question is surely from all those educated people of Sindh that why they have closed their eyes deliberately ?

Every person in Sindh having common sense knows it very well that the Peoples Party and Democracy have gievn nothing to the people of Sindh.

Currently, Bilwal Bhutto Zardari is celebrating Sindh Festival. Can anyone ask him that from where he got this huge amount to spend on this festival ? This is the money of poor people of Sindh, this money belongs to the poor people of Pakistan which his father has looted and saved in Swiss accounts.

These politicians are enjoying and wasting the money of poor people and making them fool by such kind of festivals.

They are following the policy of "Divide and Rule". They are speaking against people of other languages in Pakistan in order to strengthen their vote bank.

For God Sake, people of sindh, raise your voice and speak against these traitors.

Read this column so that you can think about it:

Just the good ole' political corruption that is an integral part of the third world. PPP is doubtless one of the most corrupt parties of Pakistan. Very ironic it calls itself socialist.

Holding cultural events in Pakistan is a great thing and I fully endorse any events that bring out our real history and culture which goes back 5000 years. However, the corruption in the resources dedicated for such events should be condemned. Besides, a cultural event with English rap, no entry for common people and similar crap is beyond me. This was clearly a political stunt with hardly any genuine conviction for culture.

P.S. I am yet to read a single column by Orya Maqbool Jan where the chap has not shamelessly lied or distorted facts, including this one.

PPP has nothing left to do so now they are spending the money they raised from the nation in their govt. pakistani people are quite simple, they only come out on the roads and they humiliate their own people and burn tyres on their own roads but only against electricity, and gas loadshedding. they stand up when c.n.g gears up its rate.. our people are just limited upto these events.. they are just husky bodies,, that don't know even about their right and their fundamental right then how can they stand up for that?
a famous quote that
"first deserve, then desire"
so we are neither deserving people nor desiring people

Well of course corruption is the order of the day. Be it Punjab youth festival or any other political stunt, it is tainted with utter mismanagement and corruption. The same is true for Sindh Festival. However, if this festival increases awareness about our native culture and history then it would be the best thing in a long time. Our culture is not the one that is hammered into our heads in our text books, or what is preached to us in mosques and through media. And whoever challenges the official narrative of culture has my support. It would be great if PPP goes ahead and takes proper measures for the restoration and security of ancient sites and heritage. Sharifs in Punjab can kiss the ass of their Saudi fathers and patronize the likes of Malik Is'haq. As for corruption, that exists is pretty much everything.

I did not want to take part in this political discussion because everybody has his/her own political thoughts and he/she always defends them. However, I want to say a few things,
1-Why people don't criticize "Youth Festival of Punjab". I was listening a news a few days back,"Billo Khoti ne race jeet li".....:ninja:.....So, it has become our standard to listen such news in News update...(No post against youth festival on css forum shows that how much people have biased approach towards PPP?)

2-If Bilawal wants to promote the Sindhi Culture, then what is the harm in it? however, these cultural sites like Mohenjo-Daro should not be ruined and organizers must ensure its protection.
3-Whatever, PPP do, its opponents always find a way to write and say against it. It has become a norm.

4-Now,come to Face book PM" Imran Khan", what he could do till now in K.P.K? He is the most confused person of the earth but our people have made him their" own hand made Devta".:vangry

5-Orya Maqbool Jan always spreads pessimism in his columns and uses religion as his shield. He also favors Taliban and regards them"True Muslims"...So, I don't believe that he can favor a liberal political party.

There would be many arguments against my points, but that is all, I wanted to mention in reply of this post.
Regards

You stole my words. :)

I mean, come on, Anee Khalid singing Abida Parveen's folk song, in Pop style, with Non Sindhi dress, regarding Lal Shehbaz Qalander (Not to mention that she was also kissed by some chap while performing, which isn't part of Sindhi culture, what little I know from my Sindhi cousins and friends).
I have absolutely no issue with all this stuff if it's being done without the tag of "promoting Sindhi culture"

It would have been a much better concept if Michael Jackson's "thriller" were performed with zombies clad in Sindhi dress emerging from the ruins of Moen Jo Daro :cr :D

All Politicians are promoting rich heritages and poor bellies. This nation truly deserves to be ruled by these morons who are hoisted on them by inheritance. No hope left

Above is the statement from educated class which I had discussed earlier. I have concern from this edcuated class. From her medals, I can see that she is also the qualifier of CSS-2009. She never thought that when I m against Corruption then it means I am against all those who are involved in it either one way or the other. She could have criticized corruption at least.

I am not in favor of PML (N) or PTI. But my friend "Maha Khan" herself decided that I am only against PPP and Sindh Youth Festival.

Even if I forget everything and I just talk about cultural event so as my other friend stated, it was not Sindh Cultutal Festival but a festival to promote western culture. If you can not discuss politics you can discuss Sindh cultural event. Celebrating western type of Cultural event at Moen jo daro does not mean that you are celebrating Sindh Cultural Event.

I am sorry Madam, I am a Muslim and Pakistani. I can never support Western cultural event.

Sindh is the Babul-Islam, if you really want to promote Sindhi Culture then promote Islam and the teachings of the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him). Promote shalwar Qameez and Topi instead of Jeans, and Superman Logo. For God Sake, Start thinking....
