yes multiple reputable newspapers have reported that news. with ishrat hussein leading the charge, its almost a done deal since his last suggested reforms were accepted and implemented as well. it would be interesting to see the new mechanism though.

The new mechanism will not allow layman to compete like current system...Dont wait ,we should resist if this bull shit implemented...

There is no need for assent from parliament and all parties ..Just cabinet approvall which has been already givrn

Next 2020 css exam will not be conducted ..plan has been approved and very likely to be implemented soon

Agar Css nahi hoga toh Phir us ki jagah Kay exam ho ga ?

There is great difference between Proposal and Implement
And
I think
Screening test can bring change means
Non serious aspirints can out from this process
No need to change written test
Because it include 12 papers
In which analytical ability is mention
Psychological test is already part of css exam

Is this a solution to all problem of bureaucracy

If there is no justice for deserving candidates then this system should be reformed.With educational critaria,age limit also should be increased so that self made and poor people may compete this exam like other countries of the world.

max age 26 with Mphil is the criteria of reforms

it will take 2,3 years even if reforms are approved. BA students can still appear in next 2 years rather than crying over reforms. and its good if qualification for CSS is 16 or 18 year education.

Agr tabdili karni hi hai ..to baqol un k jo maqsad hai.. asani sb k liye to..karna to yei tha k..
Hr district m exam conduct kawae take jo log backward area se unki preshani kam ho big city m stay karne ki.. result time period jo k 7-8 month hai use kam karna.. english essay or english paper ko combine karna ya atleast essay paper ki marking ka tariqeqar waza karna lekin nahi Bhai.. there is a lot of sylabus of 12 papers aspirant bohar mahnat karte hain ..agr ksi ne simple ba kia ha yo wo dgree rakhta hai or wo eik sal ya is se kam zada time laga kr khud ko improve karta ha 12 subjects tiyar karta hai to hme un ka raasta ni rokna chahiye..atleast unhe moqa to dena chahie.. agr us m qabiliat hoge to blishaba wo kr le ga..ap puri bureaucracy ko bura keh dete ho jo k mulk ko chalane wale bureaucrat hi to ha jo watan k liye kam kr rehe hain ..haan kuch anasair hr jaga pae jate hain hr feild m hr adare m lekin is ka matlab ye nahi k wo pura adara thik nahi hai

Bat to sada si hai k agr tabdil kana hi hai.. kam se kam kuch arsa lena chahiye isse implement karne m..taaky wo bache jo expensive tusion le rahe hain kuch arsa se..ya kuch arsa pehle se prepare kar rahe hain..sb jante b hain k most of aspirants are jobless during their prepartion..

every good practices and things has come to end in this blooody govt..I have serious concern over the proposed reforms ..
prepare for the worst ,this may happens this year

I have raised concerned about the proposed resolution with my fellows and we had a long-hour talk on this issue and at the end we realized none of our discussion mattered. We can't denounce/veto the decision as we are not part of the assembly. Look out it’s just/right around the corner.

CSS Reforms
 

Salam friends,
Any news about so-called reforms. What happened to them. Why are no newspapers saying anything about it?

These reforms are causing colossal perplexity among the aspirants and a official decision has yet to be taken so there are innumerable buts and ifs. These reforms are likely to be actualized by 2021 year and hope the national assembly/senate comes to the conclusion as soon as possible. Still wondering if 16 years of education is going to do wonder or is it just additional burden put on us. I just wish they don't make 16 years of education compulsory huh

Will age limit be increased in the reforms?

If they change minimum qualification requirement from 14 years of education to 16 then absolutely age limit will be increased too, upto 33 years to 35 years.
