Time Travel In Quran

Most of us virtually know about time travel and its invention, time travel machine. The time travel can be elaborated with two types as regional and era time travel. Regional time travel is like taking to someone on either cellular phone or video conference from one part of the world to the other part of the world which is found in present time whereas era time travel is like travelling to past or future.

The scientists have still been working on the invention “time travel machine” which can possibly take us to the past or future. Likewise many Hollywood movies have been made on time travel machine until now too.

While talking about time travel we also find instances or miracles of time travel in Quran which we got fourteen centuries ago endorsing that time travel is possible.

We know from Einstein that my clock and your clock will not run at the same rate. Time (or rate of our clocks) depends on acceleration and/or gravity. If my clock accelerates and/or is in a strong gravitational field then it will run slower than your clock. So time is relative. Quran 22.47 compares time of Earth with time at Paradise/Hell (1 day vs 1000 years); while Quran 70.4 compares time on Earth with time in wormholes (1 day vs 50,000 years).

The Quran says that when angels travel they experience different time than ours:
(Quran 70.4). The angels and the Spirit ascend to Him in a day, the measure of which is fifty thousand years.

Here angels will experience 1 day while humans will measure it as 50,000 light years.

The greatest miracle of time travel was when Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) had night journey to Allah and heaven called Shahb e meraj in 7th century which is mentioned in Surah e Najm of Quran. Although angels and spirits take a day equivalent to 50 thousand light years to reach Allah. Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) took a night on Buraq(like horse, heavenly creature) to have a journey to Allah and heaven.

“The Cave”.. It’s the 18th chapter in Quran. The first story is about “Fellows of The Cave” that they travel to the future by a black hole. The second story is about Moses and Khidr, which Khidr travels back and forth in time. And the last story is about Zulqarnain (The Man With Two Eras) that travels back in time.

Interesting; the facts stated from the Quran.
.
Although angels and spirits take a day equivalent to 50 thousand light years to reach Allah.
Didn't know there was a time frame for angels and spirits.
..
I heard it took the Prophet(SAW) less than a second, instead of the whole night. Because when he got back, his bed was still warm and window/door was still creaking/shaking when he got back.
Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) took a night on Buraq(like horse, heavenly creature) to have a journey to Allah and heaven.
.
Maybe it's possible to not only time travel but travel to a place where time travels so fast (in comparison to earth) that you spend several hours there and here even a second doesn't elapse.

Welcome

In fact, there were two parts of night journey.

First part was from Mecca to Jerusalem ( Al Aqsa mosque). At the mosque, Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) is said to have led the other prophets in prayer. Second part was from mosque to space( To Allah and Heaven). In nutshell, there was supposed to be part of that night instead of whole night.

Indeed, time runs taster to one on earth.

Quran. 22.47 compares time of Earth with time at Paradise/Hell (1 day vs 1000 years); while Quran 70.4 compares time on Earth with time in wormholes (1 day vs 50,000 years).

Likewise scientifically proved that General Relativity says that the closer you are to a heavy mass, such as Earth, the slower time will move for you. This means that a clock on a satellite orbiting the Earth will run faster relative to one on the ground.

Meaning if we attain closeness to a heavy mass (God, if we talk of the heaviest) then we can actually pause time altogether 👑

I believe that there are three times I talked about in my answer.
Time on Earth
Time in space
Time in heaven/hell

Time on Earth is slower
Time in space is faster
Time in heaven/hell is the slowest than Earth

Earth is heavy mass that’s why Time is slower there, whereas heaven/hell are bigger and massive than Earth that’s why Time is the slowest there. One day in heaven/hell is equal to 1000 years on Earth mentioned in Quran.
