Absence Of Rule Of Law And System In Pakistan
There has been an unfortunate and nightmare right from the beginning that the governments can’t have*opted to establish the rule of law and system in Pakistan thus far.
There is no system in the country, causing its people to become used to living without it being disorganised. Owing to the absence of a system for everything, people have gotten disorganised, and they get used to living like that in the country whilst they are only Pakistani people that live abroad, abiding by rules and regulations and following their system properly. Like abroad, the system should be made for everything in Pakistan so that these indifferent Pakistani people can live abiding by rules and regulations and follow the system here in Pakistan likewise.
Besides, rule of law and law enforcement have been lacking, and the regimes have failed to enforce the law by discovering, deterring, rehabilitating, or punishing people who violate the rules and norms governing the society in Pakistan. When people commit crimes and are caught by the police, they use their contacts, either politicians or government officers, to control the police and have themselves freed from the police’s custody and crime. We ought to get rid of such a culture from our country. This is the main reason why people aren’t afraid of the police and there is high crime in Pakistan.
There is zero crime in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman because their people fear the police on account of the presence of the rule of law and system, including law enforcement, in these countries, while people don’t fear the police in Pakistan.
We should rather use the words as presence of law than stern law in these countries, seeing that when people commit crimes and are caught by the police in these countries, they are punished for what they do wrong, no matter what contacts they have. They ain’t allowed to use their contacts so as to control the police and get themselves freed from the police’s custody and crime.
