See how an ASP is undone by our system

There is an unfortunate incident discussed in a Javed Chaudhry column published in today's Daily Express (January 27, 2008). It amply shows how a young police officer is undone right in the early days of his career by a culture of political correctness that is fast eating into the vitals of our society. The episode narrated by Mr Chaudhry also shows how tough the going is for any promising police officer who enters the civil service with boundless commitment and promise but his passion is quickly consumed by a system with scant regard for rule and law. Definitly a sad and deplorable incident and worth lamanting. But i still feel that there is silver lining in the dark. We have to fight these people with courage and trust upon the GOD.
