A very justifiable work indeed.

why 35? why not 50? or lets remove the age limit altogether. Even terminal patients should be allowed to appear in CSS.

i just dun get it,generally ppl r done wid their masters before they reach 25 and have ample time to prepare and appear in css, theres no need of age relaxation.if u cant get a job by 28,then how wud it be possible for u to get 1 around 30.

Exactly

Right the age limit should be removed altogether so the terminally ill pateints too can take the exam, or at least apply for the purpose. That way Css will become truly a competitive exam, open competition for all and sundry.
In all the developed countries there is no restriction on taking exams, talent knows no age. Increasing the age limit will have only positive effects, people will develope inclination for the acquisition of knowledge, they will try to keep abreast of the global affairs, indulge in progressive argumentative discussions, read daily newspapers, history, law and international relations books, and that way their knowledge level will improve, and hopefully one day they (we) too will move from their (our) current backwardness, and become enlightened as a nation.
As simple as that.

we cannot compare ourselves with India...look at their population
1,028,610,328....they had to give age relaxation due to massive population but as compared to India i think our age requirement is fine as we have 170.6 million(2011 estimate) ppl.

@ Imbindas

Welcome to the band.
Howcome you are defending age relaxation, weren't you altogether against the concept of age extension and the idea of Mohammed Bin Qasim conquering Sindh in his teenage?
Thank you for speaking in favor of age extension. :shy
