Default Who Attacked Whom?

Adolf Hitler had said, “The best way to hit the enemy hard is to make its army so susceptible in its nation’s eyes that the nation starts considering their saviours as killers”. We as a nation seem to be on verge of believing it. The attack on anchorperson Hamid Mir led to similar propaganda against the army in a bid to belittle it in the eyes of the nation. This is not the first time we are seeing media trial of some individual or institution even prior to launching of the case and starting an investigation. ‘Freedom of Speech’ will be used in such a manner, nobody even those who have been fighting for this right could have ever thought of such a tactic. International media including Indian media took full advantage of our confusion and opened a tirade against the ISI. The media trial turned to such an alarming extent that it became difficult to understand whether the attack was on Hamid Mir or on the ISI.

Pakistan’s history is full of acts of valour by the armed forces people. They are playing a significant role in the country’s defence. It is the most powerful, prestigious and disciplined institution of our country. In spite of the fact that Pakistan is a democratic state, yet it never remained politically stable. Pakistan forces have always been an indispensable player both at domestic as well as external front. No one can deny their role in crisis situations within the country. Pakistan’s military remained most reliable vigour during internal hitches such as flood problem, earthquake destructions or any emergency situation. It is the Pakistan forces that have always protected the territorial and ideological boundaries of the homeland. From the day one, rival powers are planning to break this command in pieces because without breaking those into bits, opponent can never achieve the goal of eliminating the map of Pakistan from the world’s map.

The Karachi attack incident seems to have been planned just to bring the ISI and military under heat. An attack on a leading journalist of Pakistan was planned and executed. As soon as the third hand finished its part, the propaganda was started on the media against Pakistan’s intelligence and it’s DG. In common man’s view ISI or military neither has so spare a time to think or plan such minor issues nor are they so undertrained that they could not hit their target even after firing 6 bullets. They are busy in dealing with the terrorists and terrorism within the country as well as in securing the borders of the home land. ISI is one of the best intelligence agencies of the world.

Demise or disrespect of ISI or military will be the collapse or disrespect of Pakistan and none of the Pakistanis will ever think of it. We should accept that time has changed; people are educated and intelligent enough to understand the conspiracy of enemy. Pakistani nation has always supported their forces. Their love, respect and trust on ISI and Military will never mitigate due to any conspiracy. They will not allow any individual or group of individuals, from within the country or outside the country, to malign the pride of the nation, The Pakistani Forces. The nation was, is and will stand with them in every situation. Long Live Pakistan, Long Live Pakistan Forces.
