Great news for css aspirants 2018
 

1: To ease off the pressure on candidates appearing in the css exam, fpsc has decided to hold one paper a day.

2: From now onwards, the commission will aggregate the marks for ENGLISH ESSAY & ENGLISH PRECIS AND COMPOSITION.

These are just recommendations which FPSC wishes to implement from CE-18 onward. Wait till these changes are officially announced by FPSC through their website.

I think this means that in 2017 if candidate has 34 in preci (fail) with 54 in essay he will be considered fail but after these changes his total marks would be considered 34+54=88/200 as 88>80 (40+40 pasing marks) so he passes

average marks will be counted for english essay and precis. if u avent done good in one paper, try to balance the average by scoring good marks in second paper.
