The Dream Called Life by Edward Fitzgerald
From the Spanish of Pedro Calderon de la Barca
A dream it was in which I found myself.
And you that hail me now, then hailed me king,
In a brave palace that was all my own,
Within, and all without it, mine; until,
Drunk with excess of majesty and pride,
Methought I towered so big and swelled so wide
That of myself I burst the glittering bubble
Which my ambition had about me blown,
And all again was darkness. Such a dream
As this, in which I may be walking now,
Dispensing solemn justice to you shadows,
Who make believe to listen; but anon
Kings, princes, captains, warriors, plume and steel,
Aye, even with all your airy theatre,
May flit into the air you seem to rend
With acclamations, leaving me to wake
In the dark tower; or dreaming that I wake
From this that waking is; or this and that,
Both waking and both dreaming; such a doubt
Confounds and clouds our moral life about.
But whether wake or dreaming, this I know,
How dreamwise human glories come and go;
Whose momentary tenure not to break,
Walking as one who knows he soon may wake,
So fairly carry the full cup, so well
Disordered insolence and passion quell,
That there be nothing after to upbraid
Dreamer or doer in the part he played;
Whether tomorrow's dawn shall break the spell,
Or the last trumpet of the Eternal Day,
When dreaming, with the night, shall pass away.

Trustworthy
Words are like marks and without address and surroundings it is always difficulot to trace thrm out so make habit to learn word by making acquiantance with the neigbourhood i.e prefixes,roots etc.Besides always try to learn word through sentences and make them in your usage.

brother your idea is good but we can not do implement it as this thread is for speaking skill,
it is that vocabulary is basic element of conversation .i can suggest you how to improve vocabulary ,as i read english novel drama ,poetry short stories ,whenever i found a difficult word i under lined it n looked for it in dictionary .i used it in my own sentences n write down it ,i did it all till my graduation n in my master i never opened dictionary for now i have know how about words so i can easily guess meaning form prefix or suffixes.so if you just want to read n enjoy then you can guess meaning frm context but if you want to store that word in memory n utilise it when ever yuo need then u should look for dictionary to know exact meaning n different meaning of same word.no one can memorise words k make flesh cards of words n try to guess meaning . new words which u come across daily write down on a chart in beautiful colours n hang that chart in front of ur room wall so whenever you will look at it u will recall meanings
