Yes indeed. As long as all the staff in a district is subordinate to him he stands out as an authority.

In Shaa Allah prayers are needed. and ahaha brother, you made this DMO post look like Acting Assistant Commissioner but only disguised behind DMO name.
By the way, what might be the average salary of this post? Also i have heard that DMO's transfer from one department to another? kindly let me know that their office is shared by how many other people?

he will hardly have any staff subordinate because it is itself 16 BS. also it's quite confusing that why RTS Commission DMO is 16 BP while other department DMOs are 17. It creates a sense of ambiguity of being stuck in one place for the whole life as no promotions are specified neither any higher ranks. Can you throw some light on such points if you have any dear?

That's what I've seen in E&SE Department. No idea about salary, and shuffling only in case of PMS/PCS officers, not so in case of independently hired contract basis DMOs.

Yes brother, although Monitoring projects in the province have been tailored on the same line, this one looks different. I don't see any district based seats in the ad. Plus I have no idea about RTS commission. But I can tell you DMO is BS 16 because his superiors in the head office are supposed to be BS 17. There is no concept of promotion. These kinds of jobs are temporary and you need to keep hunting for a more secure and reliable job related to your field. The concept of promotion comes into play only after regularization of the posts which is only after legislation, such kind of legislation usually comes before end of parliamentary term. You should focus on getting the job first.

No idea about merit list. I didn't appear in the test. I was just going through this thread and I thought I should tell you guys what I know. RTS may well be regularized but these posts are contract/ad-hoc based. Only regularization of these posts will clear the air regarding service structure but right now that's very unlikely to happen.

i am sure so much about it. But i have heard that already contract/ad-hoc people were hired, because there were already 26 DMOs working, but with very limited work, after the recent tests conducted, new and regularized people will be hired by commission, may be 6-12 months of contract and then regularized. That's what all i know.
