They sent e-mail to shorlisted candidates and also called.

Yes, They called the shortlisted candidates (after test) for assessment.
Assessment includes group discussion and speech. 10 to 15 minutes are given for brain storming and making points to candidates to give their views on a certain topic. Assessors keep on observing the candidates but don't participate in group discussion.
Then random topics are given to candidates for individual speech or presentation.

I applied for MTO as MBA finance got 45 marks but didn't receive any email for interview.. Does it mean I'm not short listed?
