I am M. Hamza , Started this thread to make all those candidates and students who are given offer letters for jobs. This thread is dedicated to Primary and Secondary Helthcare department ,Govt. of Punjab.

As of 2016 -2017 , This department has given various vacancies. in different projects (announced) on National Testing service.
This thread will deals with different kind of experiences we as employees of this department will share with other candidates, who will apply in this department or related or similar department.

All those candidates who are given offer letters (i.e. they are appointed almost)
share their experience in different situations here.Including getting a Medical Certificate or salary etc.

Where will you be performing your duties?

I applied in DGME project of PSHD. in July 2016.
posts applied were Assistant bs-16, and Personal Assistant bs-16
Test gave in first week of August .

First interview was taken on October 21, 2016 for Assistant .I was first contacted through call/sms about interviews than letter was arrived ,well , after I had given interview. (24 oct, was for the post of PA , But it was taken with Assitant post on the same day.)

2nd interview after one month .in November (after mid November) . Date was given only through sms/call. (Although I was not sure about it and didn't take it much seriously, wake up late, hurriedly get ready, reach the office, LUCKILY
There was no one for the both posts, and Interview was on same day ).

The two interviews were taken in PSHD complex on Birdwood Road, near Ganga Ram Hospital (10 minute away), Lahore.


There was a third interview that was with Secretary Ali Jaan Khan. May be as a formality (As I was told by other candidates that we were already selected by committee , and it was just a formality. Though According to me in that interview, I had not performed well.) That Interview was for the post of Assistant. only. (Selection in Assistant.)

The third interview was in December. Was taken in PMU office (PSHD) (Project management Unit?) Near Gadhafi Stadium Lahore.

I was just coming to your answer. So here goes:
Today , January 16,2017 . I was handed my offer letter and i gave them my Letter receipt and later joining acceptance on the terms of contract.

I was call on last wednesday (unfortunately couldn't received that call) ,On Friday was Informed about letter.And ask to come to the same Birdwood road office. IT cell.

Thanks to almighty Allah , I have given a job with salary 50,000.
My reporting attendance is started from tomorrow, with only time given for Medical fitness certificate from Lahore services hospital. (heard from someone it takes 4-5 days after they take tests).
So tomorrow I will get my Tests for Medical (Blood , Urine etc.)

It would be nice to know the breakdown of Allowance being given by PSHD (whenever you can tell here in this thread), in order to let others know as well!

Secondly, is your appointment Project-Based? What are your terms of employment?

With the bless of Allah, I have received offer letter as Admin Officer DHQ Hospital Bhakkar. Pay RS 60, 000, Contract for one year.

Congrats : Are you given your posting order , and medical certificate etc?

Well on my offer letter (clause 2) , it was mentioned that I need to submit a Medical Fitness Certificate. (Given by a committe or board). No we call from here certificate.
There was no mention of BS (grade) , but on Advertisement and application form BS 16 was mentioned. This make an ambiguity plus no indication of whether a Gazetted (officer) or non-Gazetted post certificate is required.

The registrar says its non-gazetted as lump sum is given , while the cashier and other says it is gazetted (This ambuiguity can leads to problems/issues)
So they took me a gazetted one.

Same as with non-gazetted ,test, samples etc. But it will only be given after board meeting ,I mean a gazetted job certificate takes more time as I have to go in front of Medical Board (Wednesday, after 7 days). And some says they will then give it to me on next monday. So round about 2 weeks.

Also the application for medical certificate has a fee. I paid 750/Rs .
It may be different . so keep more than a 1000 rs . to be safe. (My friends paid more when they gave their tests).

Process:
Go to required hospital: In my case Services Hospital Lahore.
Go by asking the securities about where are Certificates are given,.i.e. exact building or office
After That find DMS,who will mark the offer or medical certificate request form and then get a diary number.
Go to the place where guided. (note:I was leaded to a base in one building)
there one registrar or officer again marks the letter etc. then you go to casheir to pay the fees. After that , you get in line to go to inspection rooms.
(A person takes the paid confirm slips and makes line and then sends you in rooms , one for collecting blood sample and urine etc. sample. This room takes a picture of you , and then takes samples and gives you a request X-Ray Form. 2nd room takes your medical (offer)letter and submit it. and after some time takes your measurement , height and eyesight etc.)
During this time or after that , you can also go to give your XRAY.
After that your paid slid , one part is returned to you , with date mentioned. etc.
It takes me 3-4 hours for the whole process.
