I am contractually obliged to do my job for two more months ,and If appointment letter for this job intimates that I have to join on December 26,2017. Then what should I do ? Can I ask the new organization to delay my joining time? Please help

I got offer of appointment for Admin officer BS 18.

I am currently working as Admin officer BS 17 in PCSIR where i joined back in June, 17.

I will go to NIE on monday and will sign the acceptance but I am not sure how quit my current one. Any idea?

Yes, visit NIE and tell them about your situation. They will most likely give you a relaxation but they might ask you undertake in written that YOU WILL join their department after that relaxation period.

Depends on what were the terms and conditions regarding resignation in your appointment letter. Most likely you have to serve them for some notice period after giving your resignation.

Would suggest you review your appointment letter, visit NIE and discuss your situation.

Ok lets talk about the job description and life/environment at NIE. If anybody has any clue, does share it because I am double minded whether to join or not. I am currently working in my home town with more salary than what NIE is offering but its BS-16. Plus joining NIE means that for the rest of my life I would have to live in Islamabad. So really need some serious advice.

Buddy living in Islamabad is difficult for someone on a government salary, especially if you don't own a house here. House hiring would help you but your house rent allowence would be deducted from your salary in that case. That's all I have to say about this. In the end it's your decision.
