i) He will perform the duties of Company/ Shift Commander requiring him to deploy the personnel to their place s of duty, keeping in mind the deployment plan, prevailing situation, state of alertness and any instructions received from his CSO.
ii) He will be responsible to employ all resources at his disposal to safe guard the aircraft, passenger, baggage, airport installation/ building and perimeter of the airport against any possible threat of sabotage, hijacking and terrorism.
iii) He will organize checks and visits of all posts, places and persons and will ensure that security arrangements are in full operation and that all personnel on duty are alert.
iv) In order to eliminate any element of laxity in the planned security arrangement, he will organize a minimum of two surprise checks to test the feasibility of his plan.

i) Responsible for over all security of the area/ post assigned to him by his senior and will assist the Company commander/ Officer Incharge in security, Command & admin matters including accounts, Law and Order and training etc.
ii) To work as Officer Incharge of the Platoon/ Section and organize duties of duty personnel under his command.
iii) To take effective measures within the area of his responsibility to safeguard the aircrafts, airport building and Government property at the airport, against any possible threat of sabotage, hijacking and unlawful interference in the smooth functioning of the airport.
iv) To ensue that duty personnel under his command are active, alert and vigilant in the performance of their duty.
